Two Kisses

When something touches your heart you want to share and tell everyone about it, in hopes they will feel the same thing share your same feelings. I just finished this book last night and loved it.

I don't remember when I started following his blog or how I even found his blog but I'm glad I did. Matt Logelin story is a sad one, but also a happy one. With this great sadness came the joy of his daughter Maddy. His wife passed away 27 hours after giving birth to their beautiful daughter Madeline in 2008. This is a story about their incredible love and the incredible loss of his wife Liz. It's a beautiful memoir and truly makes you think of your own love and family. Matt and many of his supporters started a foundation The Liz Logelin Foundation in Liz's memory $7 on the 7th. This worldwide charity  foundation gives support to widows and widowers with young families.

You can find the book HERE a percent of the book sales also goes to the LLF charity.

So excited....

I heard on one of the Entertainment Shows last night that one of my favorite books is being made into a movie. Coming out this Spring and I think they did really well in casting the characters for the movie.
If you haven't read Water for Elephants do before the movie comes out!

I can't wait to see this book come to life on big screen!! Have you read it? If so what do you think about Rob Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon as the main characters?

Recommendations needed

In two weeks I am heading back to the States for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party. I' am so excited to see family, eat good food and do some shopping. It is really hard to find English books here and I want to stock up to get me through the summer. I'm so out of the loop on what is new and must reads. The last two books I read were The Water for Elephants and The Shack. I'm up for any thing, so ladies any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What can you recommend?

Looking for some suggestions for good books to read? I'm heading back to states for Christmas and need to stock up. English books are hard to come by here in Germany, and it is very expensive to ship. I love all books and I'm guilty of following Oprah's book picks for many years. Out of touch with whats new and popular since summer time, hope you all can help!
