All spiders freak me out.....but I'm especially afraid of the spider you may eat while sleeping. Have you ever heard you eat so many spiders a year in your sleep? Supposedly it's myth and almost impossible to do. Last week I woke up at 1:30 am gagging, I ran to the bathroom gagging and threw up! Sorry TMI and gross! My first thought was holy shit I ate a spider .....! I didn't see a spider amongst everything! Still not convinced I didn't eat a spider I imagine it clinging to the side of my throat as my dinner came up.

So there you have it Spiders are number one on afraid of what list....oh there's a list and it's long!

One of my favorite trips we went on while living in Germany was our Italy trip. We spent ten days in Italy between Rome and Florence. I could go there over and over again.

Favorite movies...

Day Seven of Blog Challenge.....Favorite Movies

This one is a hard one, I don't have a favorite movie. I love going to movies but don't go a lot. I don't like to see a movie more than once so I don't buy a lot of movies.

I'd have to say I pick comedy over drama but I love a good drama, romantic movies, some musicals. Don't do scary movies or sci fi movies or westerns or sequels!

I love comedies like Raising Arizona, Old School and Wedding Crashers,Napoleon Dynamite, okay and Hangover!
I loved the Twilight Movies too sorry! And if anyone would go with me I'd probably love Never Say Never too! The Notebook....love a movie that makes me cry!

I love Colin Firth and anything he is in.

I'm a fan of most movies and can find something in it to like. So I'm no critic and never give  a recommendation only because everyone taste is so different.

The movie I'm looking forward to coming out soon is Water for Elephants I loved the book so I know the movie will be good. Bridesmaid looks so funny, I laughed hard at the previews excited for that also!

Hands down the best thing about going to movies is the popcorn!

Yes shoes make me happy, I think they make most women happy right! I'm currently in love with these four. There is something about a red shoe that makes me smile....it screams Spring maybe even Summer but certainly not my Winter. 

The top left is probably the only one I can afford, their from TARGET. Top right is Tory Burch need I say more....but I love them so Nautical. Bottom right is Prada why do I have to fall for a Prada it's like the Brad Pitt of shoes, it can never happen! ☹ And the bottom left is Rafe New York and currently on sale and totally would buy it if I could find my size. Trust me I looked, that's how I spent my Friday night!

So there you have it SHOES make me Happy!

I think growing up with fours sister was pretty awesome. Yes there's was the fighting for the bathroom, clothes  and enough drama to win a Oscar. I think we are all so different in personalities, height and looks but we also have a lot of similarities.

She is the only one left in Utah, after we abandoned moved.

Mary has three beautiful kids and her awesome hubby my ex Boss.

They moved from Utah back to NJ five years ago to be closer to his family.

Mary is our Zumba and Hip hop girl...she is the dancing queen in the family.

She was my old tennis partner...don't ask how many matches we won together!

She loves NYC and when attending NYU stalked JFK Jr. back in the day!

We share the love of Oprah and Ellen and now Justin Bieber!

I think all my sisters are pretty awesome and I love them with all my heart! I miss living near them but have been lucky enough to have them visit especially when we were aboard. Now that we are back in the States I know I will see them more and more.

My Parents

Day Four of my Blog Challenge....My Parents ❤

These are my parents on their Wedding Day, 52 years ago next month.

They both grew up in Seattle, Washington.

 In big Catholic families, she is Irish he is Polish/Irish.

My parents raised five girls, have five wonderful son in laws and fifteen grandchildren.

They spend half the year in Arizona and half in Utah.

They both love to golf, read, travel, and enjoy their wine. 

It's not easy being parents of FIVE girls....can you imagine the drama.

I have amazing childhood memories of my Parents being their for each of us teaching us to be the best we can be. Instilling a good morals and values, incredible work ethic and loyalty, friendship.

I love my parents so much, I hope and pray they stay healthy and happy and in our lives for a long time to come.

Day three of 30 day Blog Challenge

First Love ❤

On our first date I knew I'd marry him....how did I know? I just did, there was something about him I was smitten from day one! 

Our first date was on the ski slopes....his first love for sure! He kind of tricked me into the date, said a bunch of us are going skiing do you want to come? Me not being a big skier thought okay as long as it's a group how bad could it be. There was no group just him and I and a blizzard! 

This is me on our first date....why I have a picture is beyond me. Don't you love the old pom pom hats! And how about his jumpsuit! So Vintage or so 80's!

Okay back to my LOVE.....I fell hard, first his striking good looks won me over, his height and muscles wow! amazing blue eyes and feathered hair! But more importantly he was so kind, funny,smart. I was drawn to him like a magnet. I thought I had been in love before. Many times but none like this, it was instant from day one. 

Two and half years after that first date, we were married. On March 19th we celebrate our 23rd year of marriage. 

My first and only love...I'm so lucky to have him and love him with all my ❤!

West Family Adventures

Day Two of Blog Challenge is meaning behind your blog name......
I didn't have a clue about blogging when I started mine...I just  dove in. I wish I had a different name but it's too late now and I really couldn't think of anything else.

West Family Adventures started when we moved to Bremen, Germany 2 plus years ago. A way for family and friends to keep up with our life aboard. Now we are back living in America. We moved to Western New York, from exciting Europe to rural NY....still Adventurous....some days!
