Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Using what's in your frig right now what sort of meal would you be able to make for guests who are knocking at the front door this very minute?

Well not a hardy meal would be served....I have lots of eggs, cheese, yogurt and berries! I could whip up an omelet or a yummy protein shake!

2. What is something about yourself that you hope will change but that probably never will?

Maybe my thinning hair or able to do a normal pushup instead of a girl one!

3. What's something about yourself that you hope will never change?

The kind of friend I am....to others.

4. Do you usually send serious or funny greeting cards? Why?

Serious more than funny....depends on who I'm sending to.

5. Bird watching, shell gathering, or star gazing- your choice for whiling away the hours?

Shell gathering....listening to waves crashing....finding the perfect one!

6. Do you double or triple check things? If so, what?

Yes....if the door is locked, stove off, hair straightener off anything that could start a fire needs to be off and possibly unplugged!

7. What's your favorite place for people watching?

The mall for sure, but the airport is pretty good too! I love people watching.....people are pretty interesting!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

I love fall, it's my favorite season! But come on retail....is it really necessary to already have Halloween candy!! I love candy corn it's my weakness but mid August to start eating candy corn could be  a diet disaster. Damn you retail sabotager's !!

Stop by From This Side of The Pond and say hi to Joyce and other Hodgepodge !

I love that you're a great friend. Do you also gather beach glass along with your shells?

I have never understood why they put out holiday food a month (or two) before the holiday. Who buys it now? And sometimes there is none to be found when the actual holiday gets here. Crazy!

Love the list...chuckled at the '"boy" push-up! After nearly two years of working on this, I can only do a couple "boys".
Girl push-ups are way better anyway! :)
I too love the fall, and the beach!

I've seen the Halloween candy too. Doesn't candy corn get stale?

A friend of ours have a teenage daughter who left their house with her hair dryer running. Yes. Her blow dryer. Ran for over an hour. They came home and the dad heard a noise and could not believe it. So lucky the house didn't burn down. Girls and their hair essentials!!

Hands down my favorite people watching venue is Vegas!!! Couples, weddings, gays (perfectly dressed), sugar daddies with their sweeties, serious pit bosses, oldsters on scooters, great cars...... All in one place!

Yes re Halloween. Way too early!!

An omelet with a shake to drink is right up my ally.

My hair has been thinning for years.
I would love to know how to reverse that.

I agree it's too early for Halloween.
I have also seen Christmas items out.

My favorite season's are Spring and Autumn.

I would rather collect sea shells too.
Fall is my favorite season and I was at Micahel's the other day and they already have Christmas decorations out!! Crazy!

I love fall too... It's even starting to feel like fall here... Yeah!! Halloween candy in August... Boo... I need the pool toys put away for the season before I can eat candy corn... It is just the correct order of things.

That's why I don't iron my clothes because I'd have to keep checking to see that I turned it off.

I think it's crazy to see Fall decorations up when it's like 90 degrees outside!

I do love breakfast for dinner :)

Awww...your #3 touched me. Over the years, I have discovered how special it is when others exert the effort I put into my relationships with them. It's so nice to have give and take with others. That is true friendship.

That's one thing about being in Dubai - no back-to-school ads, early Halloween or Christmas displays. It's kind of nice. Though all the chocolate shops are tempting enough.
Push ups would be nice - I want arms like Michelle Obama. As for the thinning hair, did you know that the tap water in Dubai is so bad due to its desalination and all the chlorine in it? Hair loss is a huge problem here and pharmacy shelves are piled with hair loss shampoos, etc so I can certainly relate. I'm upping my intake of Evening Primrose Oil which is supposed to really help - I'll keep you posted :)

I love this post.
You are so interesting.
Your fridge sounds so healthy.
The kids told me last night there is absolutely NOTHING to eat in ours...so I hope no one comes knocking on our door today.
