It's been a busy month of June
I haven't had much time for blogging
So here is the latest going on's in our house.
Sophie is back to hiding under my bed, when she knows I'm leaving!
Poor girl is confused!
Katelyn went to Minnesota for five days to visit her friend.
She had a great time and we barely heard from her!
She can now knock two states off her list that she has never been to.
Her friend's family has a cabin in Wisconsin so they spent the night there.
I'm happy that these three were together again...laughing, shopping and god knows what else.
While Katelyn was gone... her truck received bad news...
It's 18 years was over....
It's been a great truck...
the one we've had since she was in a car seat...
Now on it's way to auction surly to be parted out!
177,000 mile later
RIP Silver!
So what did that mean for a family that needs three cars to get us all to work etc...
We went car shopping and found a gently used Toyota Rav4 for me and I passed my car down to Katelyn. Which she quickly moved all my stuff out and moved in before Silver was out of our driveway!
Last night I went to The Book of Mormon at Sheas Theater. It was so good and brought back memories of living in Utah. I highly recommend seeing it if it's in your city!

Glad that all is good.. well, besides poor sophie and Silver.
We just got Paul's old truck back from the shop today. It's been an ungoing emotional battle for him. The truck belonged to his dad and although Paul really needs a new one, he just can't bring himself to get rid of it. Hopefully this latest mechanical work will last for a long time. : )

I liked it and had a fun time BUT I found the humor a little over the edge and could see some people being offended by parts.
For a second there, I was freaking out a little that you went to Minnesota and didn't stop to see me! :) Glad Katelyn fit some fun into her summer.

Well, it sounds like the truck was a good thing; especially, since you got a new one. What a great state sign. Well, you know I am Mormon. I haven't seen the play, but have heard people say it is funny. I don't really take offense because some things about Mormon culture are funny and some of us do know how to laugh at ourselves; however, my husband went on a business meeting and someone who knew he was Mormon asked if he saw the play. He said he didn't know what to say. When he got home he said "Why do people think it is so funny to make fun of us?" Then went on to say, "they would never make a play about being Muslim, because they know we would get bombed over it." Anyway, I am glad you enjoyed the play. I am slightly curious. I don't see it coming to Atlanta anytime soon.
I heard Book of Morman was really good to see. I live in MN - glad your daughter got to see our beautiful state.
Our Skye does that too! Sounds like a fun time for Katelyn. Sorry about the truck but it sounds like it had a nice long life. Congratulations on the new Rav4. I haven't seen The Book of Mormon but I've heard it's very good. Glad you enjoyed it.
