I remember this day like it was yesterday...
Two years ago we visit NYC
and the 9/11 memorial
As sad as that day is it's worth a visit
to pay respect
to honor those lost souls

I am going to NYC in a few weeks. Can't wait to see the memorial. Sad day. Remember that morning so clearly 12 years ago!
I hope to visit that memorial myself sometime. I can only imagine what the experience would be like.
thanks for posting and sharing this. I just was reading an FB post by the Chicago Tribune that asked people what they were doing. Reading the short stories in the comments reminded me of the awful feeling that came over me that day.
I did a 9/11 post too. I thought I would see more of them.
