Peach Cobbler

Today I made Peach Cobbler for my lovely family! Its an easy, recipe the hardest part is finding ripe peaches.

Peach Cobbler:

8-9 peaches (peeled and cut up)
2 cups sugar
1 stick of butter
3/4 cup flour
2 tsp baking Powder
pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix peaches and 1 cup of sugar in a bowl. (Set aside) Put butter in a deep pan (13x9) and set in a 350' oven to melt. Stir the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the melted butter. (Do not stir) Place peaches over the top. Bake 1 hr. or until the crust is a golden brown. Batter rises on top during the baking.

Enjoy!

Do you know Unknown Mami? She's awesome and she's started a fun Sunday theme inviting you to get out and take pictures of your city to share with the rest of us.

I live in Bremen, Germany. Bremen is in Northern Germany not far from the North Sea. It's a beautiful crisp fall day here shall we take a walk..........

This is my house lets start from here....

This is Sophie, she wants to show you her favorite place first..

We live outside the city in the country. This is our favorite walk.....

It's really peaceful and you see alot of nature and animals......

This is my main form of transportation, my bike lets take it into the city......

This is the water front it's on the Wasser River, I love coming down here, it's lined with Bier Gardens and resaurants. There is always something going on and interesting people watching spot.

Lets park our bike and hop on my second form a transportation the SBahn and head to the City Center.....

This is the protector of the city, The Roland Statue.

Next is the Catheral, my favorite part is the church bells that ring every hour. I love to grab a coffee for Starbucks and sit on the steps and watch the hussle and bussle of the city.

Hope you enjoyed Bremen Germany and Have a wonderful Sunday.

License plate fun!

Saw this plate while I was visiting Utah, made me think of INA in Alaska. She always finds the best plates. Most time time they are a puzzler or about dogs. Ina has opened my eyes to the beauty and fun Alaska has to offer, I hope to travel there some day.
Mostly I just want to say "Hey" and "Have a wonderful weekend".

Mystery Meat

Back in the land of WTH is this? Three weeks in the States had me use to the foods and meats again. Now I'm back in Germany and gagging on everything! Last night's Spaghetti was the final draw. I knew when I was cooking the beef it smelled weird to me, look weird to me and sure enough tasted ....ummmm disgusting! WTH do they feed the cattle here in Deutchland ? and the chickens too.....I'm really too lazy to be vegetarian plus I'm married to a carnivore, total meat and potatoes kinda guy. What to cook for dinner tonight? Toast anyone?

Heading back to Germany.....

airplane2

Today we are heading back to Germany! Katelyn and I left three weeks ago, we spent a week in New Jersey and two weeks in Utah. We had a great trip, so busy visiting family and friends. Shopping, eating, seeing movies it was a whirl wind, almost a blurr! I'm excited to get back, I miss my Hubby and Sophie dog so much. Katelyn on the other hand may go kicking and screaming, I can't say we are going home or she corrects me and says we are home.

It has been very therapeutic for both of us getting away and being back in Utah. But now I'm ready to get back to the routine of life and be back in my bed. I'm coming back with a new attitude and a focus on my health, both physical and mental. Okay and I'm armed with Bee Pollen and Happy pills too!

Happy as dog!

Picked up my "wheels" today from storage! Feels good to be behind the wheel on the open road. I thought I would forget, don't know why I thought that. Road rage returned about 1/2 mile later ...traffic, construction, mini vans oh my!

Home Sweet Home

Woke up to the sweet sight of the Wasatch Mountains. After a long delay in Newark Airport we finally made it home at 1:30 this morning. We had a great visit in NJ with my three sisters, BIL, nieces and nephews but nothing beats home. Going to be a busy two weeks lots to do and lots of people to see. It is so hot here, big change from NJ humidity and rain. Hope you all have a great weekend.
