Sophie has an interview tomorrow!

Sophie is being interviewed for a new Boarding/Daycare place. She goes there tomorrow to see if she is a good fit. I'm crossing my fingers her skills from Puppy school come back to her and I hope her German is up to par. This place is the bomb it's no farm its like a country club of dog care. This is a residence with amazing grounds, it's a family atmosphere no kennels and 24 hour care. Basically she is part of their family while she is there.

Sophie has issues, separation anxiety possible OCD of itching, but she is a good dog. She loves kids really any one especially if you pet her. She never barks unless you are vacuuming.

Do I pad her resume or tell them of her ISSUES? What if she is too high maintenance, too needy?
Keep your fingers crossed for poor Sophie, lets hope she gets in.

Good luck, Sophie! How funny that she has to be "interviewed" - guess that helps keep the riff raff (by which I mean bad dogs, not ones with anxiety!) out!

I'm keeping my paws crossed for her!

Pad the "resume" and tell her to act like she owns the place when she walks in!

One more thing..... stop vacuuming!

Good luck! Hopefully she will like the new place (since the interview will obviously go well).

This is exactly the type of place my fur children go to when I am out of town. They stay at their caregiver's home, they have yard access, no kennels and lots of company. Actually Jeter is very sad to be home! Not really, but he is moping around. Whenever he is with his caregiver he runs the Pack activities. Good luck to Sophie!

She looks adorable! I wish I had a place like that around here for Stella.

I would tell them too about her issues. They will probably cater more to her if they know!
XOXO

I hope Sophie wows them on the interview. You should tell them about the issues because who knows...they may be able to help give suggestions that haven't been thought of. Plus, they can also look out for signs of distress and all of that.

Good luck, Sophie! Don't forget to share and not cut in line during recess.

I will keep my fingers cross all goes well. It sounds like this place might be the perfect fit for Sophie.
Kathy does she sleep or spend time in a crate now while at home? Can you have her spend a day then a night at the new place to break her in slowly? This way maybe you can even make unannounced visits.

When you leave her at these places do you put in a worn T-shirt of someone in the family so she knows you will come back for her?

I know it is easy to say because I'm not hear you, but I really would sit for her if I was nearby. I pink swear!! xoxo
