Sophie and her snuggie

This is Sophie giving me "Stink eye"!  I think she is still pissed off we left her for three weeks or is it the pink snuggie we dressed her in?
It's nice to be home with her and our luggage arrived all in tact!! She came home from the boarder  much thinner than we left her, apparently she was sick the last couple days. I took her to our vet today and all is good, now I just need to fatten her up a bit.
I think giving her extra food and treats will make up for my abandonment and her stink eye will fade in due time!
Have a wonderful Monday!

Bet it broke your heart to come back and see her looking much thinner than when you left. Did you have a nice time? I'd better go investigate and see what you had to say about your trip back. BTW.........if you win I'll totally ship to Germany. I selected light pieces on purpose b/c I didn't want to pay a bunch in shipping on heavy items.

I think she likes her snuggie...she is just giving you the evil eye b/c you left her for 3 weeks and the boarder does NOT treat her like you do. You got some spoiling to do.
Suggestion for a treat: Put peanut butter in a kong and freeze it. Then give it to her. It will take her a long time to eat it all, but she will LOVE trying to get the yummy stuff out. It will give her terrier mind a job.
Blessings, andrea

Poor Sophie was on a hunger strike! Good thing you brought her back that snuggie... she would have been really ticked if you showed up empty handed. She is 100% female and it is gonna take a while for her to get over this.

The snow pictures are beautiful. What a beautiful area of the world to live in!

Hey Frau! Your comment at Casa Hice yesterday was crazy funny! Thank you so much for swinging by and reading that long rambling bit of nonsense I called a post. Made ya dizzy, didn't it?

Anyway - your pooch is muy adorable! When we went to Italy and took our little Augie {wienerdog} to the Pet Bed/Breakfast/Spa/Resort he came back noticeably thinner too! But he has separation anxiety issues. Poor guy.

So.... how you diggin' the snow and ice of upstate New York? All you ever dreamed of? Wish you were back in Bavaria? It's not a whole lot better in Florida, just so you know. Our low today is aimed at 17 degrees. On Saturday, Ocala, Florida which is south of us got accumulation! Can you believe it? You're not alone in your misery.

Hope you're staying toasty warm tho. Seems to me you ought to have a Snuggie too!

Ohhh Kathy I can feel the smarts on that look of hers. LOL... Yes I think I would second it from one terrier owner to the next she is angry and will be paying you back when you least expect it. LOL... I think treats, steak for dinner and a whole lot of loving will help. LOL...

Sophie I hope you gain your weight back and your family takes you next time.

Hugs to you both! xo

So funny-Pickle got a pink snuggie for Christmas too. I'm trying to get her use to it. That and the sweaters she has- she goes outside for about two minutes at a time. My pups are always really upset if we have to leave them. We have recently found a wonderful couple that adore taking our little one. Lucca is another story-she's big. I hate leaving them.

She looks so cute. Glad to hear the vet said all is well. Good luck getting her fat again or at least back to where she was. Just do not make her too fat, remember what happen to Rosie. We think that is what gave her the diabetes. Good luck girl. Love ya, Beth

Oh my god that is the cutest thing I've ever seen! And it's even pink!

The first time we boarded our dog he lost 5 pounds! He refused to eat and had so much anxiety he would just run in circles in his cage howling.

I'm sure Sophie will be back to normal soon!

Our dog has been eating non stop since we picked her up from the farm. I think she had an okay time, but she does tend to sulk when we go away...

Love the snuggy! We need to get one for our girl... and maybe some boots. She has tender, Southern feet :-)
