Breaking up is hard to do....

So since we will be moving back to America in July I figured what's the point of taking my German lessons. Right makes sense......so yesterday I told my teacher my news. She said so what does that mean for us? And I nervously said well I should probably stop ya know cause I'm gonna be busy and stuff. Okay I might of stuttered and nervously laughed all the while thinking Omg I will never utter another German word as long as I live please stop trying to make me learn!! I'm incapable of learning languages! She said, NO we will continue until you leave! End of discussion! What!! okay see ya next week......!

Tomorrow my daughter and I are flying to Paris to meet my sister Preppy Player and nephew. We are stay until Monday night and then I'm bringing them back to Germany to stay until the following Sunday. I can't wait to see them and to have the last of my sisters come visit. My sister speaks perfect French and we are doing different things in Paris than I have done and seen before. Like going to Versailles and Giverny Monet Gardens.

Au revoir!! Ciao!! Auf Wiedersehen !! until then...

Oh I can imagine the conversation : )

Totally envious of your Paris trip...I need a weekend there. Or a month. Sigh.

You're returning in July? Good for you. Learning German at this point seems pointless. I learned Mandarin while living in Shanghai and only use it in Chinese restaurants now; if they speak Mandarin.

OK, maybe I have mislead you with the perfect french OR you are being VERY sarcastic. However, I can read menus and French Vogue, thank you very much! No worries, I can keep us safe with my french.
And, I do want to meet your german teacher so I am glad she is still in the picture. see you in 48 hours!
Call me before you go to bed!

Well, this has surely been an adventure and frankly, I'm alittle scared of the German lady.

Have a great time in Paris.

Your German teacher sounds so typically German! :) They are absolutely determined to pound their language into us Americans... Irregardless of the fact that once we return to the U.S., we'll never have to utter another word of the language ever again! :) My advice is to tell her "Tschuss!" and be done with the German courses... If your heart's not in it, there's no point in taking them. :) Have fun in Paris!

Your German teacher kinda bugs me. My best friend is German. She is nothing like your German teacher.
