Niagara Falls

Yesterday I went to Canada for the first time....We went to Niagara Falls Canada side in Ontario. I have always heard it is the nicer of the two sides, and it really is. It was a rainy day which was a disappointment for pictures. My favorite part was riding the Maiden Mist, it was amazing. Words can not express the excitement of being that close to the falls. We wore our blue ponchos, cinched the hoods down tight and we were drenched. I loved it in the moment but afterwards I think my fit flops stayed wet the whole night. It is a must do if you ever go to Niagara Falls.

My hubby loves it because he didn't grow up here. Seeing that picture makes me appreciate that I can travel a few hours and see one of the great wonders of the world.

Love your pictures! Doesn't look like it was rainy, the sunset is beautiful. Me and my husband and Stella took a road trip there last August. The Holiday Inn takes dogs! We came back down through Saratoga, NY, then on through Vermont. What a fun little trip. If you ever get a chance, visit Saratoga. It was a fun time cause it was the opening weekend of the horse racing. We just stumbled upon it, and ended up having a blast. Hope your adjusting well!

I must go again. My family went some 15 yrs. ago. We did the 'go down under the falls' thing where you sport yellow raincoats, go down the elevator and walk to this balcony type thing where the falls rush in front of you. INSANE! I did feel, however that we were all in some weird movie like Soylant Green, where they were taking us all off to die, haha.
