My heart goes out to all the people affect by this last wrath Mother Nature threw at Alabama and Mississippi. Yesterday in Western New York we had severe weather watch...Tornado warnings!
It was a gorgeous day in the high 70's yes it was windy....by mid day I watched the dark clouds, rain and hail show up and then it all quieted down and we actually had dinner on the porch.

Today is a different story, it's still so windy and gusts that shake my house. When I took Sophie out I noticed shingles missing from our roof. Our BBQ Grill rolled across the deck landing against our table. Sophie wanted nothing to do with this wind and ran inside.

My neighbor told me this week if you don't like the weather in Buffalo, wait a few minutes and it will change. So true I'm learning nothing is what you expect or what the weather man say.

Feeling a little like Dorothy and Toto today...minus the rudy slippers and bobby socks!
Have a wonderful day!

This weather is crazy scary! I know a few people in Arkansas that have been affected by the weather too, one had a tree fall on her house!

I'm with Sophie, hole up until the weather gets better.

Stay safe!
The weather is so strange this year, so sad to watch the news this morning...thoughts & prayers to all the people especially down South!

Yes, Mother Nature can be a bit of a B sometimes! Wild weather for so many - I'm feeling so grateful that we've only had crazy winds and power outages and not major damage.
The weather in Ireland is so much that way - it will change on a dime. Crazy gale-force winds are a common thing but never make the news - I suppose everyone is used to it! Stay safe :)

It really is amazing how quickly the weather can change. I can't believe how many lives have been lost.

Mr O and I were watching the news this morning and saying how lucky we are here... yes we get the snow and cold but we do not get tornados.

We always need to worry about the earthquakes, though.....

A reminder how calming the weather can be and yet so powerful the next. Our friends of the south have been on my mind too. xo
