I did that when I was looking for my Thanksgiving Turkey plates. A few here, a few there and now I can feed a crowd. And they're outrageous on Replacements!

I love the plates! I am behind on reading but saw your post on brass...it's expensive to change it all out. If it works with the style of your home I wouldn't worry about it. Like you say, by the time you make the switch brass could be the 'new black' : )

Oh I love blue and white china too! But I am too scared to buy a piece as I know I will get addicted buying all the beautiful pieces!
I love TJ so much that one year I gave it up for Lent... (or tried)... my husband says I get "Maxx Attacks"... I want to stop at them all - I'll look too - who knows, you may be able to serve desert to 50 people if everyone finds them!!!!
