There is something to be said about sleeping in your own bed!
We just got back from a week in Utah.
It was nice to go "HOME"
It's been almost 4 years since we moved from there....
It's gone by fast
It's weird to drive by our house and see renter's living in it...
It's nice to see family, friends and eat and shop at our favorite places...
And of course enjoy the gorgeous
Wasatch Mountains!
My hubby skied everyday...
I skied 2 plus days...
I got altitude sickness the first day...
that was fun...NOT!
Goodbye blue skies of Utah!
Hello gray blah skies of Buffalo!
Happy Tuesday!!

Loved seeing you AND skiing with you!
back to laundry, grocery shopping, bank and post office- What a life!
Sounds like a fabulous trip (minus the first day). Welcome back home!
Sounds like you had a good time. I agree w/you - there is nothing like your own bed; it's just so comforting.
Welcome home my friend! I'm glad you had a wonderful time. xo
PS thank you for the birthday song. :)
Wow, you ski. Happy Tuesday Kathy.
So pretty! We didn't ski this year and hubs is sorry. It hasn't been much of a winter so I guess I haven't missed it too much. Welcome home!
LOL...sorry I laughed on the gray skies. WHat is up with that, I often wondered when I lived there. I love a Buffalo summer though. Looked like a great trip.
sorry about the sickness though, that would happen to me too.
Utah is a fun ski destination. There are great restaurants too. Glad the trip was fun & a great & hopefully drama-free family get together. The kids are growing up so fast :(
Welcome home! We are "improving" here. Mr. O is recovering slowly. His energy levels are low & he has lost over 20 lbs. He is starting to go to the gym to build up his strength. & he comes home early from the office. I just today got my voice back! Hooray! I think he will be ok. We have a doctor client who watches him carefully. So that is a good thing. xoxo
Have you forgotten girl that you have to drink plenty of water and get rest on the first day of arriving in Utah. I have payed the price way to many times and now I know what to do. Glad you had a fun trip none the less.
Altitude sickness? Yuck. Glad it only lasted one day. That would be strange seeing renters in "your house."
slightly confused
sleep in your own bed - check
our house and see renter's living in it - check
combine the two and I have you sleeping with the renters. Something is probably wrong with my logic.
Utah is a beautiful place. And going home is always fun. Sounds like you really enjoyed this time away. But it is always more comfortable being back in your own bed. Take care.
Salt Lake area? I really liked Utah when I visited. I remember a restaurant called Quail Run. Ever been there?
