Ever have the feeling you are treading water so lightly.....
Your so busy crossing the t's and dotting the i's
Even the littlest addition to your long list of must do's throws you?
We finally put our house in Utah up for sale
It's been rented by several different renters over the years since we left
We held on to it for several reasons
We thought we were moving back after our time in Germany
Well that didn't happen....here we are in Western NY
The market in Utah had not recovered yet
and we couldn't get we we needed
Timing is everything...
May 2nd it went on the market
May 5th we accepted an offer and are under contract
Hopefully by July we should be closed and the bleeding of cash will stop
Finally we can focus on our life here
Finally one less worry, one less chore
I know we will live in Utah again
It's home

The closing of one door, and opening of another. I wish you and your family well as you go through this process.
Good for you guys!
Congratulations! I'm sure its bittersweet, but you can still go back one day.
Having the renters I imagined helped. Compared to the worst of housing crash it seems things have recovered a little. I myself would not want to be a landlord and the headaches but a few in the extended family are and do alright.
I'm sure it's very sad but thankfully the market has gotten a little bit better. Way to go on selling it so quickly. One less headache!!!
It is hard to let go of a place called home, I know.
Oh my goodness, that was so fast! I'm sure it's super bittersweet.
So happy for you and what a blessing even if it is a little bittersweet. If you ever do move back, I am sure you will find another home that will make you just as happy.
Wow! That was one fast sale of your beautiful house. Woo-hoo. So glad things worked so well.

The picture of the house speaks Kathy
What a pretty house. I'm sure this is very bittersweet for you - I know I'm always torn when we've sold. But sometimes it really is for the better and you can breathe a sigh of relief. So great how quickly it sold though - it's like ripping off a band-aid and you can close that chapter and move on. xo
I sold my home in New Orleans several years ago. It was bittersweet although I got a decent price. I don't know if I will live there again. When I see old pics of my place, my heart sinks a bit. It was a good place to live. Hang in there, friend.
I hope the rest of the closing goes well.
