Random facts about my city Bremen, Germany.....
The Bremen Town Hall-Rathaus is an amazing site. Every part of this building tells a story. This particular picture shows how the State let the Roman Catholic Church know they are independent and separate. A women is sitting on the Pope takes his Orb and hands it to a Chancellor and for some reason there is a sword in his bottom. Don't ask me just what I was told.
Spotted this handsome tourist...I love his outfit all white except his tie and belt! No white after Labor Day doesn't apply here for some reason.
The elections are here next week and yesterday in the City Center they had all sorts of activities going on sponsored by one of the Parties. Nothing is ever free in Germany, but this was a rare day, free fun for the kids. Mechanical bull riding...don't ask me why, but this little girl lasted all of 2 seconds.
Another Bremen Town Musicians painted in the city Football colors.
And last but not least every body "Rock-On! and have a wonderful Sunday!

Thank you for this fabulous tour. Hope you're enjoying your weekend! xo
Nice view of your city my friend. I found the spitting stone and how people hold grudges interesting. xoxo

What a fun city!
And what a crazy background associated with the 'spitting stone'!!
Hmm... Why the hen, I wonder? :)
Another awesome Sunday tour!
I love the guy in the white suit. I've always hated that "no white after..." rule. I don't even wear white, but it pisses me off because who made it up and why should we follow it. It's more about fabric choices if you ask me.
It's a pleasure to get an intimate glimpse of a city in another country. Thanks for the tour and the history behind it.
Wie Geht's.
1. Do you spit on the spitting stone?
2. Where is the hen supposed to be on that statue?
:-) Great photos.
Poisoned butter? Imaginative :))))
Cool I never knew!
Oh what a great place to call home. I loved this post, it was really interesting.

That spitting stone is interesting. And a little gross. But more interesting.
