Hacked.....how?

Yesterday was a great day....I got so much done! I was on fire.....barely online....so productive!
Too busy to get hacked.....some time in the afternoon I started receiving texts and emails from people asking if I sent them a link?......NO I've been busy today people....

Some how my email contact list was hacked and sent out links to god knows where....well Katelyn opened hers....sent her to a Viagra website....you think you teach your children not to open links and first chance they get what so they do.....bad!!

I sent out emails telling people not to open....hope I wasn't too late and hope I didn't miss anyone!
SORRY REALLY I AM!!!
I changed all my passwords...that's what Yahoo recommends!

Here's my question around the time this all took place I had just let someone borrow my phone, to make a quick call. I stood right there....it was only a minute! Is that how my email was hacked or just a weird coincidence ????

Wish theses brilliant people would use their skills for the greater good!!

So on the bright side my Paper Whites popped! Pretty uh?!!

Happy Tuesday!

Was it a stranger who used your phone? I guess that could be it but I'm not the one to advise on anything technical. It happens though, it seems particularly bad on hotmail accounts. Did you change your pw? What a pain.

As you know I got one of the Viagra forwards but I did not open it. I have learned my lesson long ago that is why I texted you. Plus you are not known for just forwarding info without a heads up.

Sometimes I wonder if you can get hacked via Facebook or maybe Pinterest??? Just a theory.... you never know!

I got it but my gmail shows a preview of whats inside and I knew it wasnt from you. I had the same thing happen to me and it went alphabetically but my gmail stopped it right away.
I dont think it was the person who used your phone..it was probably while you were on the internet at some point. Thats what happened to me anyway.

Im glad you changed all of your passwords! hopefully it's over now :)

I have no clue about the phone call but I was hacked a few weeks ago and it made me crazy. I sent all sorts of sorry emails too. Ugh.

This is terrible. Last week a similar thing happened to me. My husband sent me an email or so I thought. It provided a link for me to click. When I clicked on it I realized it was NOT from my husband. My computer security instantly came up telling me it was dangerous. Has NOT happened again because we took precautions after that. Hope you get to the bottom of yours. It is frustating to say the least.

yes the flowers look better than the page from the link.
It was not too bad of a page unless you dislike Canadians because it said it was some Canadian drug deal.
Your hacker (everyone can have a hacker of their own) left some comments on my blog with the links. Kinda weird that they would do a comment thing. It showed up under your DISQUS name. I deleted them but you might want to check/change a few passwords now.

I opened mine too! It didn't say Viagra though. It said "no subject". It warned my computer was in danger when I opened it....:(

I've been hacked before too but I doubt it was from letting someone use your phone.
Such a pain.

I got it but I knew immediately that it was bogus, so no worries! I doubt it was the person who used your phone. This just happens sometimes.

The flowers are gorgeous!

I didn't open mine. I learned from the last hacker with you. Remember about looking at your photos? It happens and I wish it wouldnt but it does. Xo
