Happy Eve of Christmas Eve

I went digital in 2004 at least I think I did....before 2004 all my pictures are in my scrapbooks or on negatives...I wanted to find pictures of Katelyn sitting on Santa's lap over the years....guess what I don't think I was that mom waiting in lines at the mall. The first pictures I have are from preschool some years none at all.

People starting families today or relationship are so lucky everything is documented online...do you know how hard it is to find photos on negatives in a musty old box!! Or try and undo a scrapbook just to scan a photo and try and put it back together again....ugh!!

So here is Katelyn sitting on Santa's lap when she is older and much more wiser to the man and the myth.

This is the same Santa and Mrs. Claus year after year we would go to brunch at my parents and sister's Country Club. I love the top left picture it's a fake beard after that he embraces his inner Santa and grows his own!! I loved that brunch, Santa and Mrs. Claus would arrive via helicopter it was so exciting for all.

Katelyn was never a big fan of sitting on Santa's lap....
Except for this one in I think first grade....
Unplanned event she is still in her uniform...
He looks like the "real" Santa don't ya think??

I hope Santa is good to you all!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Happy Holidays!
Happy Hanukkah!
Happy Kwanza!

That was so worth scanning and sharing with us. What a delightful, fun and enjoyable post of all her pics with Santa. Amazing...and how the years so quickly fade away with time, but the memories are priceless.

Happy Christmas and Merry New Year.

My kids don't get to sit on Santa's lap much. I can't be bothered with the too-long lines at the malls here.

Have a very wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! Thank you for always stopping by over at CG and also over at mine and leaving those sweet comments. :)

I knew the reindeer thing was bull$%#@ --- photos of Santa with a helicopter is something that will seriously harm his rep, but it must be shown....

Love the Santa pics! I never got into a good habit of getting my kids' picture with Santa, but I know one day I will be glad to have the photos I do have. I am starting fresh with Alice!

I need to get my old Christmas pics together. They're in about 30 different books/boxes. Maybe 2012 will be the year : )

Merry Christmas to you and your family!

I do love to look back on old (well maybe not THAT old) photos of the kids. I have photos of me and my sisters on Santas lap too. I just saw a commercial about a dad who made an email account for his daughter. He records all her milestones and sends her the email. When she is older she will have an email account about her life in her Dad's own words. How awesome is that?? The digital world is able to record so much more history.
