Wednesday Hodgepodge-Spring!

Joining Joyce at From This Side Of The Pond for Wednesday Hodgepodge....come play along

1. Spring is in the air (at least in my neck of the woods) and the birds are singing...what's your favorite bird?
Bluejays or cardinals

2. Speaking of birds...do you tweet? If so tell us your screen name and we'll come flocking to your Twitter site. Even if you don't let's all pretend here that we do-in 140 characters or less, sum up your week so far.

I do, but not that often....mostly during American Idol or DWTS chatty about performances!
My week so far.....recovering from vacation and cleaning my house! #Boring,#needacleaninglady!

3. Its been reported recently that employers are not only viewing the facebook pages of potential hires but they're also requesting your facebook password to have a look at what you've kept from public view. What say you?

damn I'm glad I don't work or use FB that much....I think I would be okay!

4. It's April and you know what that means-Major League Baseball is back in action. What's your favorite baseball movie? If that's too hard, what's your favorite sports themed movie?

Field of Dreams with Kevin Costner and A league of their own with Tom Hanks!

5. Something else this season brings-asparagus. Yes please or no thanks? If it's yes please what's your favorite way to have it prepared?

Yes I love asparagus......tossed with olive oil and sea salt and pepper thrown on the grill is my favorite!

6. What drives you? (Don't you love how I sandwiched that one in between asparagus and jugglers???)

Completing a goal...checking it off the box....my hubby

7. April 18th is International Jugglers Day...can you juggle?

No way not a lot of coordination here!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Just home from our Spring break vacation to Southern California .....had such a great time. Slowly getting back to reality....! Poor Sophie girl is wiped out from the farm aka boarding! So is so skinny and tired! Any ideas how to fatten a pup up quickly?

Happy Wednesday!

When our dog goes off to the "puppy hotel" as we call it, she comes back home and sleeps for three days straight. Too much activity and noisy dogs for her.

I know I usually feel like I need a vacation to recover from a vacation : ) A cleaning lady would be nice too!

Aww...poor puppy! I don't like having to board our two dogs...I feel so guilty when we're away. I say just spoil him rotten with plenty of treats!

I wonder if Sophie grieves at the "farm"..... poor baby. Make her a nice turkey and sweet potato dish. If you want I can send you the recipe from Barker's Grub... I can't remember if you have the book but the recipe is Sweet Woody.

I am on Facebook more and more. We in the legal community also use FB as a great tool when checking out adverse parties and such.....I saw your great FB pictures from the Santa Monica Pier. Did you try the ice cream parlor (the one with the old carousel)? Looked like you had a great time. I loved it there!

Glad your back!
That poor, poor puppy! Give her lots of love and treats!!
Our dog Aero gets upset when dad leaves; she is very near and dear to him! We just give her lots of attention and let her run around and play!

Welcome back Kathy! Worst part of vacation is coming home and facing reality. All that laundry doesn't help either.
Poor Sophie. She isn't used to being without you. She even went to Germany with you, for cryin' out loud!

I'm glad you had fun. I can't wait to see some pics.
Poor Sophie gal. I'm not sure how old she is, but I know even if a young pup liked the farm as they get older it gets to be too much for them. This is what happened with a neighbor of mine and I sat for her elder pup twice already. Our Kelly couldn't handle it so we always either took her with us or found someone to housesit and dog sit so she at least was in her own home. Now for Bo he loves it, but again he is young. Ask me in a few years.
I'm with Ina's recipe give her something good and healthy. xo

Welcome home!!! Can't wait to hear all about your vacation.

I'm an asparagus fan too :-) I always wanted to try growing it but I don't have a green thumb.
