After living in WNY for over two years I'm still discovering new places and things.
This week I finally stopped here
Mayer Brothers Cider Mill
They have been around since 1852...
Making fresh cider and fine beverages
They also make donuts...
apple cider donuts...
I don't have a picture because it didn't stay around long enough!
My most favorite part of this little gem (besides the donuts)
apple cider slushy....
AMAZING!
My new vice.....
Bummer part is they are only open August until Thanksgiving!

I love places like this. Apple cider is a great thing to enjoy during the fall season.
Oh...sounds like a wonderful place! The slushie looks yum, but think I'd have to opt for the hot apple cider; too cold up here for slushies :P
Think I'm gonna have to google me a recipe for apple cider...for some odd reason I've got me a craving for some ;)

We just discovered Mayer's too, and we've been here a year longer than you! Oh what we missed...sooo delish!
I've been wanting to go to a local apple orchard. Maybe next weekend...Not sure I'll find apple cider slushies, though!
I can't believe it's been two years! That's CRAZY.
We have lots of apple orchards up here but I've never had a slushie. I'm going to have to look for that one! I love cider, hot or cold.
I have never lived in a place where apples grow. I have visited and eaten fresh apples and tasted cider that was great. I can't imagine how much I would enjoy the slushy.
