Joining Mrs. 4444's @ Half Past Kissin Time today!
Happy Friday!
❉ Today is day 2 of my unemployment....still feels weird to say that! On Wednesday evening I was
"let go" of my job, it was also my one year anniversary at said job. I wanted to make it a year and I did. It was hard to last that long with a crazy unstable boss....so being "let go" aka fired was gonna happen or I'd be quitting soon. Our personalities didn't mesh well especially with her driving the crazy train. I learned a lot this year and am turning the page on this chapter. On to the next job whatever that may be!
❉ Anybody else sick of winter yet? It's so bitter cold here! I'm hovered over a heater just to keep warm.
Tired of salty dirty car and tracking mud and snow inside, tired of my snow boots, tired of my down coat....just want to wear cute shoes again! Winter storm warning again for this weekend at this rate my wreaths on windows outside will be up until Easter!
❉ I really want to plan a vacation away this spring for my hubby and I .....somewhere warm but inexpensive! Any ideas?
❉ Today I decorated for Valentine's Day and ate my fair share of conversation hearts! That is one thing I wanted to do different this year was get back to decorating for the holidays. Once I started working last year lots fell on the way side..... I also want to pick up my camera again...my real camera not my iphone! I really miss taking pictures!
❉ Have a wonderful weekend!

Sorry about your job, but I hope I'll see you back here more : ) I put out the candy hearts today. Big mistake!
sounds like your boss made your decision pretty easy….it is hard to do a job that doesn't nourish the soul. teaching this semester isn't fully nourishing my soul….so i've been doing a lot of skiing, trying to keep moving…plus i'm going to volunteer at a wildlife center…then i think i might be nourished! :)
xoxo
Life's a learning experience. Glad you got out from under a bad thing. ENJOY the time off.
I am so sorry about your job too. I hope losing one you didn't care for opens the door to one you love!
Have a blessed weekend...
Sometimes, it's best to move on. I had a crazy boss once. She threw a coffee cup at me shortly into my "year" of working for her. She had a very short temper, and she never, ever took responsibility for her own shortcomings. That was the first and only job that I have ever been "let go." Better things are ahead for you in 2014 I am sure.
((HUGS)) Sorry to hear about your job but it sounds like God has another plan for you.
Hoping you find a job that makes you much happier and is nowhere near crazy town.
It is not easy losing a job however you sound on the right track to pick up the pieces. Good luck!
You could come to Greensburg, PA...I hear spring is pretty nice there and there's a pretty cool person you could visit
I started blogging because our whole company was being shut down (years ago now) and the phrase "a few clowns short of circus now aren't we?" was heard many times. I thought it made a great blog title but then many of my great thoughts seem to be great for just me. Anyway they say one door shuts and another opens but this winter that would make it damn cold in your home. So stay in a bit and enjoy the fact that you don't need to travel through ice, snow, salt and cold everyday. Wait until spring for that new open door.
Sorry about your job, but it sounds like it was a good thing.
Bummer about the job - I've worked for some crazies before and I totally hear ya! We don't all get along as hard as we may try. Well, maybe it's a blessing in disguise. Take a breather, pick up that camera and get that negative energy out of your head. And just think - no more trudging out to the car on those nippy days! xo
