My Paper Whites popped!
It's my first time buying the kits I see every Christmas. The bulbs in a box...seems easy! I bought Paper Whites and Amaryllis patiently watched and watched, waiting and more waiting! One minute nothing and next look a Christmas beauty! My Amaryllis is close to being ready. Next year I'm going to plant earlier say when I decorate outside the day after Halloween!
Happy Tuesday!

Wow. That is just gorgeous. SO pretty! Merry, Merry Christmas Frau!
So pretty! I've never tried the bulb in the box thing either but I think I will next year - I love the anticipation of waiting for them to bloom :)
Lovely! I got dizzy counting your stockings though.
I really love the shot of the snow covered trees.
Happy Holidays!
I had these one year they smell so... good! xo
OH, I want one too! Great photos!
I love paper whites! Wish I had some this year. Beautiful.
How pretty! I gave one of the kits to a friend when she lost her husband. I wanted her to have something to look forward to at Christmastime. When it bloomed, she was so excited.
Whoo hoo..they are pretty!
I love the name of these flowers! Paper Whites, so dainty and precious xoxo
PS I just got caught up on Preppy's blog and read the great cookie calamity. Oh my gosh I would SO LOVE to meet some of those trash talking Alaskans. If I do, they better watch out!! Got the soap ready to wash out their trash talking mouths! Hope some of them see this comment :) Bring it "ladies"! This Jersey Girl in Alaska is locked and loaded!

Every year I swoon over those flowers...and the amaryllis. But I think to myself, "Too extravagant." And I pass them up.
This year, someone gave us an amaryllis. I'm waiting expectantly for it to bloom. I hope it's as extravagant as your beautiful paper whites!
Merry Christmas!
We started late this year too and are hoping for some color just in time for the new year.
I love doing tulips in the spring!
