Sundays in my City-Caroling

Last night was the 38th Annual Carolcade in our little town. They close off a part of main street in front of the famous Viddlers 5 and dime. Lot's of people gathering singing carols, free hot cocoa and supposedly Santa was there somewhere. But the high light for most including me was two of the most adorable Llamas. One had reindeer antlers and the other wore a Santa hat and had Christmas lights on. They were so mellow and didn't seem to mind the crowds. It was good small town fun. After the caroling the movie theater did a free showing of It's a Wonderful life.
We came, sang a little, drank hot drinks, posed with the LLamas and headed home to a warm fire and called it a good night!

Me pretending my Hot Cocoa is Hot Spiced Wine!!

Stop by UNKNOWN Mami for more wonderful Cities.

Happy Sunday All!

I looks like a lot of fun! I love that movie too. Hmmm.... a MIA Santa-I wonder if he reached for the hot spice wine cup instead of the hot cocoa!

I think I found the perfect job for you- how about opening a wine shop in town? I wanted to for year and slept on it too long- someone beat me to it! xo

How'd they get the Llama to keep the hat on all night. That's fabulous. But it sure looks cold! Hope the hot chocolate was realllly hot!!! Stay warm.
Merry Christmas and Happy SIMC, jj

Wow, llama, how much fun. I love the way Christmas can drag everyone out into the street to have a great time together.

I give you a lot of credit for bundling up & getting right into the spirit of the community carolling! Looked like a fun (but chilly) evening!

How fun! I haven't been caroling in years. I always love it when they sing "Silent Night."
