My Graduate

Katelyn graduated on Friday.....
It was a nice ceremony....
Speeches were good..
One a little long...
She is in the top 10% of her class so they received their diplomas first...
which was really nice, usually because of our last name she is one of the last in anything alphabetical.
But then we had to wait for the other 204 kids names to end...it was long!
We are really proud of her....
I did good....I don't think it will hit me yet....
We haven't seen her much since....
Parties parties and more parties...
Dinner out tonight to celebrate...

We love you Katelyn!! xo

Yes, those ceremonies are always long! However, I am glad we have them. My husband says that they don't have anything like it in Germany. Congratulations to your daughter!

I remember those parties, don't you? LOL Congratulations to your daughter Katelyn on graduation. Now it's onto the next phase of her life. The seperation anxiety will be a little tough mom. But you'll get through it, when she heads off to college. Take care.

I bet the parents/guest of the 204 students were thinking the same thing. Now that the day is behind you, I hope you both (3) will be able to relax and enjoy the summer. xo

Well, if you're going to bawl (and you will, I'm told) it's probably best to do it in private.haha It's not graduation night that it hits you, I'm guessing; it'll come later, maybe when you least expect it, like in the middle of writing a blog post (like mine, last week). So happy for your your daughter (10% is very impressive, too!) and for you--You done good, Mom :)

How fun! Congrats to your graduate.
I have had the pleasure of having an intern help me and she graduated.....so that was fun to see her get so excited about it all.
It is a wonderful time and in a year from now, you will see your daughter blossom!
