Next is here....

Next is here...
On Monday afternoon I received a job offer for a job I applied for back in November...
It's working the front desk at a small dentist office.
She wanted me to start Tuesday, so I did....
I accepted the job at 6 pm Monday night and started work at 8 am Tuesday morning!
Omg
I'm tired
This working gig is hard when you've been out of the game for awhile...
I really like it...
BUT I thought I'd have time to prepare for re-entry back into the work force!
You know...give my house a good cleaning
tell Anderson Cooper and Ellen I won't be there to watch everyday
figure out when I can blog, tweet and FB, Instagram and play my various computer games!

and than there is SOPHIE
Poor Sophie is not happy!

cooking dinner.....
laundry...
cleaning....
grocery shopping....
maybe workout .....

Now I need to remember how I found balance in my life
how I was a good wife, mother, friend and worked ....

Okay that's where I've been all week
Hope you all had a great week and an even better weekend!

Congrats on the job. I know you have wanted to find something for a while.

I can only imagine the shock to your system. I too would have needed a months notice of my starting date. Cannot believe you started the next day.

Congratulations Kathy! Best Wishes for a brilliant start to your new job. You seem like a well balanced person. In no time, you will figure out what is best for balancing the other half of your life. Don't forget - your home life is THE most important part. Once I got sucked up into work, and my home life suffered a bit - never again.
You're a smart girl, you'll do what's right for you. In the meantime, enjoy learning new things and meeting new people. It's fun!

Congrats! I'm so excited for you that you landed something finally and you're enjoying it!
Yes, I can't imagine how tough it would be to go in everyday after such a break but I'm sure you'll find some way to get things done. But don't stress about it - enjoy it and I'm sure you'll meet some great people xo

Yes I agree with everyone, you will fall into a schedule - it will all work out. Although I must say your work schedule seems EXHAUSTING!!!! But so happy you are working, it's been quite a while!

wow that's big change to your routine. Hope the work environment is good. Working at a place you just want to leave vs. a place you enjoy being part of, makes such a difference.
all the best.
Anderson Cooper and Ellen probably will not notice.

Wow, that was a quick start. I guess it's like diving in, instead of dipping your toe in.
