Tipping etiquette .....this is one I always have questions with. Yes I know how to tip in a restaurant, hair dresser, pizza delivery guy those are easy ones. But what about the Dog Groomer? Dog Boarder? Flower delivery guy?
When we go to Mexico they make it easy the maid leaves an envelope for the end of the week, I like that. But honestly when I've stayed at Hotels and no envelope, I've never tipped. Should I ?Do you? What about when you need an extra towel and you call housekeeping?

Where is that sign from? Its says pounds... Yes, tipping is very different here and I just hope people think I am a crazy generous American!
or do they mean no Cow tipping???
i'm with Ann.... i was thinking cow tipping! I tip those who go above & beyond. xoh
I think I'm a little over the tip! I tip the groomer when I pick my employer's dog, I tip and feed the landscapers and cleaning lady, I tip at hotels, I tip the delivery person, I tip the flower person.... I drive my love crazy with my tipping! LOL...
Happy Mother's Day my friend!
PS I haven't forgotten about the tag I will peak. xoxoxo....
I, too, was thinking Cow Tipping...especially since the sign says something about the Environmental Protection Act. So, no, I don't tip cows, but I pretty much tip everyone else. And I probably tip them too much. Oh well!
Have a Happy Mother's Day, Frau!
Our daughter, Amy, (not the Amy who is marrying Craig in June) spent a few summer vacations working housekeeping in a local hotel. She taught me that it is standard to tip the room cleaners daily because they change shifts so often.
I also tip my dog boarding lady, my yard guys, plow guy, newspaper deliverer, etc. Pretty much everybody!!!
Have a lovely Mother's Day!!!! xoxo
I believe that what you put out comes back to you, so I tip and I usually tip well. I receive some very generous tips back as well.
Happy Mother's Day!
