Kon Tiki Museum

Katelyn and I are probably the worst tourist, or at least a tour guides worst nightmare. We follow behind listening, but lose interest and start silly photo sessions. In our defense this was our third Museum so far that day and two more to go....plus we were hungry and not really interested in Tiki's. Katelyn was in a photo sabotage mood and pretty much every picture from this point on was borderline trash bin. We had fun and laughed too much. Craig on the other hand is the complete opposite...listens, looks at every picture, reads the facts etc... We're more meet ya at the gift shop kinds girls.

You will remember your time with your daughter long after the tiki image fades. I'd keep the photos. :)

I do stuff like that too! I'm always imitating the pictures or statues.

There's one of me at Ceaser's Palace in the same pose as one of the statues holding her breasts. And another one of me pretending to pinch the pee pee on one of the statues, all you see is my fingers next to him!

I'm a sucker for a museum gift shop. Great photos! I'd be right there with you...if I were there with you. ;)

It looks so much fun. Photo sessions at museums are the best.

I'm the combination of both of you all -- I love lingering over every little exhibit detail AND I love shopping in the gift shop, too. Maybe this is why nobody will go to museums with me anymore! Thanks so much for bringing us along on your trip.

I love seeing the two of you having so much fun together. It's very cool to get a glimpse of the fun relationship you have. Yes, totally cool.

Just catching up with your last few posts. My favorite by far is the Vigeland Sculpture Park. Spectacular!!!!! I too would get antsy after a long museum exhibit. I like to breeze thru and stop if I see something seriously interesting (to me), then get a coffee or ice cream.... xoxo
