It's Tuesday......on Friday it's my 22nd Wedding Anniversary, for a couple days my hubby and I thought it was our 23rd. Apparently I'm not the only one that struggles with Math and memory in this family.
We also can't agree where we were engaged....I say one restaurant and he remembers another, each of us think we are right!
My daughter's Winter break and Spring break are only 3 weeks apart....seems crazy! But she seems ready for a break. We are planning on going to Amsterdam for part of her break to see the Tulips, I think we are going to be too early. We are also spending the rest of her break in Western New York looking at schools and homes. It's early to be doing that, we aren't leaving here yet. But it's the only time my daughter can go after Spring break she starts her exams and no missing school. I hope we know more about our fate when we get back.
Everything in my closet for Spring is too small. I think humidity shrinks clothes, I'm going to have to google this. I really can't think of any other reason.
I made Turkey Chili for dinner tonight. I'm pretty sure it's not turkey that I bought. I don't care that the label said Turkey, it smells like ham, looks like ham and most certainly taste like ham. I wonder if its Turham, like Turducken. I should be a vegetarian the meat here never taste right.
Have a wonderful Tuesday!
Stop by THE UNMOM and see what Keely and her friends Random days are going!

Smoked turkey tastes like ham. Now I want ham. Ham in Amsterdam.
Brownies in Amsterdam? ;)
Sounds like some good adventures coming up!
Xo
You're right...that settles it ;)
And as for the spring clothes...it's cause you went through a season of wearing them and hence they have shrunk due to the multiple washings they have been through. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
Oh I'm sure it's the humidity. : )
Oh my gosh, so that's why all my clothes don't fit!
Of course!!
Humidity made my spring clothes ugly. Now I must replace them all. I hate when humidity does stuff like that.
(PS: Happy early Anniversary!)
Congratulations Frau. Wow 22 years. What a blessing. The picture of your husband on the sidebar, he looked like he's 22.
This morning I was trying to remember how long we've been married. For the life of me, I just could not remember! It finally came to me a few hours later. How does that happen?
Happy anniversary!
Turham, bwahhaha.
I loved the mystery meat shopping. You never knew what you were getting.
Are you going here? http://www.keukenhof.nl/index/en/
22 years is awesome! congrats..I cant wait to say I've been married that long:)
We will be walking a lot so I'm guessing between that and the springtime weather- your clothes will be loose before you know it!
I wish I had spring break from work.
Shrunken clothes? Good one. I like that sense of humor.
Turkey chili is good. Especially when it has turkey in it.
22/23 years? Congratulations!
My clothes shrink too! What are the odds!
Congratulations on your 22nd! That is huge! I love turkey chilli although the last one I made was far too hot and made hubby and I run for water.
Hopefully you can agree someday on what restaurant you were both at! LOL...
Humidity is surely the culprit! You will be quite busy in the upcoming days! So you are moving to NY State? Closer to Preppy at least..... xoxoxo
HI girl, my clothes have shrunk too I think it is the girl scout cookies!! Love to you all, call me I need to talk to you about your mail. Beth
Amsterdam will be fun.
Happy 22 years!
Awesome on your anniversary! Who cares where it happened... at least you remember it was a restaurant! (Who are you? Who am I?)
Ooooh, nothing like mystery meat!! I wonder what it was??
Happy Anniversary on Friday, 22 years, wow!
It sounds like you have a full break planned. I hope you find everything you are looking for!
XOXO
Thank you!! When we were in Florida last December non of my summer clothes fit. Humidity! I think you may be on to something.
winter does shrink clothes. I love your way of thinking.
Happy Anniversary!!
xxAmy
What a big anniversary. Great. And I'm going with the humidity deal too.
Field of tulips! I bet you will be singing "Tip Toe Through the Tulips". I can't wait to see the photos.
It sounds like we will be singing "Welcome to America". I'll keep my fingers cross.
As for the clothes thank goodness Europe favors nudity. xo
So jealous that you are going to see the tulips!!!
I like your theory on humidity. It works much better for me than admitting it might be the m&ms I eat every day...
Happy Anniversary!!!
