This week for black and white Wednesday I picked a picture again from our summer trip to Oslo, Norway. Not really sure what this is either a church, school or possibly someones home. But needless to say it's beautiful, I really love it in B&W.
Please join Lisa for more black and white Wednesday over at The long road to china.

What a beautiful picture. It's like a poster. And yes, Spring please come soon.
Fantastic photo! If walls could speak, what would this house/church/school tell us?
I lived in Germany for five years and remember vividly how much I ached for Spring. Hopefully soon, huh!

I love that picture. (I say that everytime don't I?) I can't imagine the effort it takes to get out to that building for whatever it's used for.
My dh went to Oslo last year during his trip to see the N Lights and the pictures he brought back were amazing.

I have no idea where that is... It looks like it could be a house... I am going to have to try to find it now!. Next time you come to Oslo you need to look me up! : )
Amazing photo by the way! : )
Wow....such an interesting shot. Is this floating on the water or a tiny island?
Floating house? Make me think of the floating market in Thailand. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and making a comment.
Have a great week!
Wow, is that completely surrounded by water on all sides? What a crazy place to build! Absolutely beautiful though!
Great pic! It has made me curious about whether it is a church, a home...or whatever! It is really cool though!
Great picture! How bizarre to have a house just sitting on the water like that. Hope you get feeling better. When spring gets here, I will sent to eastward!
That is beautiful! I was walking around today and saw signs of Spring everywhere. But yes, frost in the mornings still...

Very cool! I'm sending warm thoughts your way...who knew Chicago could be 57 degrees in early March?!
Beautiful? It's stunning! I love that it's in the middle of the water too!!
I hope spring comes to Germany soon and Mr. Sun at least blows kisses your way!
What a gorgeous, interesting photograph! Yes, one really starts to wonder about the building...that's part of what makes it such an amazing picture :D
My guess...a salvaged building, moved to this unusual spot to be used as a summer cottage. Would love to learn the true story one day!
Stunning! Here's hoping Spring makes her dainty way to see you soon!
Gorgeous! Love the contrast, the light and water. :)
Beautiful-some days I would love to live in such a home-very private and hard to get to!

Great shot! I love the b/w effect.
That photo has such serenity to it. I'm curious about the history of that building, whatever its function is.
Beautiful picture....I will wonder what that is for a while...imagine if that is someone's house?!
Love the BW conversion.
I adore Norway!
wow could really imagine living there...i get a little caustrophobic without being able to walk out onto the ground...makes a stunning shot though!
I like how it's so isolated on the water.
Hope you're having a good day.
It is way too early for me to be up...
Work From Home
I do wonder what that is. Can you imagine living there? At first I thought it was a light house, but I guess it would need to be taller for that? Maybe?
This photo is amazing.
