Random Tuesday

My Hubby had a layover in Amsterdam, brought Katelyn and I fifty Tulips, what a guy uh?! We had snow again, we have about three inches in the yard.....will winter ever leave!
I'm still sick, I took some night time cold medicine last night. You know the kind that is suppose to knock you out...I was awake until one o'clock! Tylenol cold/flu night time you suck!
Finally fell asleep and 3ish woke up to something in our attic....sounded like a small toddler running around. It's happen before always in the middle of the night, except last night a fight of some kind broke out. We were all awake from this horrible squealing sound. It was a WTF moment for the whole house. My husband flicked on the attic light on and off, as any strong protector would do. Whatever it was freaked some more and then stopped once we were back in bad and starting to sleep....the running around started again!!!! All I know is I'm NEVER going in the attic EVER!!
In 4 and half weeks I'm meeting my sister Preppy Player in Paris with my Nephew. Katelyn and I are spending 4 days with them, then they are coming to Germany to spend the rest of their visit with us before heading back to Paris. I'm so excited to see them and have them come here.
Started watching season one of Glee online, love it! Any one else hooked?

Have a wonderful Tuesday!

50 TULIPS! It must look amazing at your home. Yeah- a very nice guy! The attic dweller... ummm yes-just stay away. Paris in spring~ Oh I envy you. What a special time for you and your sister. Take lots of photos, as I have no trips planned right now and I'm traveling vicariously through you.

Awww, 50 tulips must be so gorgeous in your home right now. How sweet your husband is!

I was watching the show the Exterminator and ummm...putting it lightly, you all may want to wear helmets just in case the attic collapses from the three feet of poop that must be up there. (That was on the episode...raccoons and poop...gross).

Sorry they are keeping you all awake. Feel better soon.

So you have counted it. Good. I mus t say your hubby really loves you a lot and most important thing is he express his love to you. I really appreciate that. I wish my hubby learn something from yours and be bit romantic rather than businessman.

Tulips are a sure sign of Spring.

We've heard squealing noices outside at night and I think they were otters - which are totally disgusting and ugly.

Glee is a fun show and have seen most of the episodes on Hulu.

eww eww eww to the attic visitors. I'd have to get someone to look at it but I imagine that presents all sorts of challenges in Germany.

tulips are my favorite...those are gorgeous!

I'm hooked on Glee too...can't wait for the new season!

Feel better!

I think I caught your cold via the internet..lol...or my allergies have just left normal and went into orbit. Either way, I am miserable, too. Hope you are feeling better, soon.
Hugs,
andrea

PS: LOVE the tulips!

Hey the last comment was deleted by me. Hmmm... I'm having a tiny trouble with comments this morning on blogs. Either not showing up or in this case it was a dupe. xo

Better get rid of the attic residents before the Preppy arrives!! It would be a funny post if you contacted an exterminator! Paris.... nice! I have never been there, you are so lucky!!! also to have such a thoughtful husband to bring back beautiful tulips for his ladies!! Nice touch!!! Hope you feel better soon, Frau xoxoxo

Hope you are feeling better soon! But please, Please, PLEASE do not go into that attic again until you have someone to check it out. Your post sounded like the set-up to a horror film -- LOL!

Also, your husband gets big kudos! 50 tulips, how heavenly!

Have a great week!

How exciting to be able to "vacation" with your sister and nephew. You never found out what that squEALING WAS?

Those tulips are beatiful!

Gorgeous tulips!

You've probably got a family of martens in your attic. They're really common in Germany and like to chew on the rubber hoses in peoples cars. That is when they're not running around all night scaring the heck out of you!

Grand Pooba said...

Oh yeah, I love Glee! I can't wait until next season!

Those flowers are gorgeous, you lucky girls!

Creepy attick!

Good luck with that whole attic situation.

And feel better soon. At least you have tulips.

Melissa said...

Holy crap Frau, stay out of the attic! Maybe call an exterminator?

I like Glee too, I haven't seen it in a while but I enjoy it!

I hope you feel better soon. :)

Bobbi said...

Eeeek! Creepy! So did your big protecter actually look up there or just flick the light? And what did he think that was going to do? Give it a seizure?

Screw Tylenol! You need Nyquil!

SCARY! And I'm thinking that it's about time I started watching Glee!
