Friday Fragments...

It's Friday.....I love Fridays!

School started this week for my daughter, her last year in High School. It's was a good thing I'm a big believer in structure. I was never the crying Mom on the first day of school nor was I the cart wheel through the parking lot Mom either....It's just time.

She drives to school now....I think it's starting to hit me, my baby is grown up. Next year it's college away, now I get why the Mom's cry because they know this day is coming. They grow up too fast!Sniff sniff!

I'm mostly glad it's Friday because my Hubby is on a plane coming home. He has been traveling 4 out of the last 5 weeks .....it's too much! I miss him!

I hope this weekend Mother Nature gives the Flooded areas a break and Texas fires some rain instead.
I've been watching all the specials on 9/11 it's so sad and still so raw, hard to believe ten years has past.
My heart is heavy thinking of that day and all the lives lost and forever changed.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Your daughter is very sweet and lovely. She's grown into a lady, but don't start sniffing yet Kathy.

Hope your Friday is good, but we know the weekend would be wonderful!

Katelyn looks so pretty there all grown up!

It's crazy how fast time goes by - 10 years since 9/11.
It makes you really appreciate your loved ones. Enjoy your hubby's homecoming and give him extra hugs for coming home to you safely. xo

Enjoy the last year of HS! Time does go fast.
I too have been watching 9/11 specials. It is so sad. I remember that day so clearly. I pray that the news is wrong about a possibility of another one.

Don't forget to put out the "Don not distrub" sign this weekend, so you can enjoy time with your love. xo

She is so pretty! that senior year is rough on us mom's. It's exciting and we're proud.. but we also know that our lives will change along with theirs as they spread their wings and leave our coop. : (

I can't believe that it has been 10 years, what a sad sad day.

Have a nice weekend.

Your daughter looks beautiful. I hope she has a wonderful year, and she can treasure the moments of her final year of high school. Glad your husband is coming home, too. Enjoy!

I don't know but I think parents have a tougher time with the 9/11 stories. You should be very proud of your daughter. It's not easy to raise children. I felt very proud at our kid's college graduations.
all the best

What a lovely post. So true about the kids growing up so fast. It only makes me realize, I am getting OLD...LOL! Have a great weekend, enjoy your hubs when he gets home, I can imagine how you miss him.

She is so beautiful.
I am glad she is ready for a new year. Look at her pretty smile! When I think about her going to college I cry and she is not even my kid.
Holy cow, time flies.

I know just how you feel! My daughter is in her senior year as well. I got an email from the school advising the day the graduation ceremony will take place. I read that and cried and cried. I guess it made it real. May 19th is right around the corner. I guess I'm not ready for her to be grown and yes, now I get it. I swore I wouldn't be one of those crying moms, but I sooo am!

Hope you are having a good weekend with hubby. I know you are glad he is home, especially on 9/11 anniversary.
