Something weird is going on with some blogger blogs and internet explorer... Yours is one of them for me... I am able to access it via my iPhone only.
I make my own salad dressing always!
Simple oil of your choice, red wine vinegar, garlic salt, pepper and Italian dried herbs... Yummy and calorie friendly!
For actual salad... Love to throw different things together!

My friend at work created Salad Shooter Thursday. Every other Thursday, one of us brings in a salad for the rest of us to share. Oh my! It's been delicious! Here's a light one. If you want more, just send me an email!

Jenn’s Salad

Marinated Tomatoes:
3 large tomatoes
1/3 c olive oil
¼ c red wine vinegar or balsamic vinegar or both
1 tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
½ clove garlic
1 tsp basil
1Tbsp parsley
1 Tbsp chopped onion

Mix all ingredients and marinate at least 2-3 hours. Overnight is best.

Toss the marinade with romaine and red leaf lettuce. Sprinkle with Parmesano/Reggiano cheese. Lots!

I like my Asian style... easy= 1 tbl spoon of chunky peanut butter, 1 table sp of soy sauce, 1 tbl sp of honey, salt & black pepper to taste, 1/2 cup olive oil & 1 tea spoon of sesame oil mixed well with 1 clove garlic- crushed. great with grilled seafood/chicken!

Enjoy darling! XO*

Kathy, looks like you have some great recipes already. I am a little late to reading the post and have a couple I will email you. I would post here but I think it would take up too much space.

Email coming your way.... xoxo

I have a couple of easy dressing recipes. I don't buy dressing because they are ALL (even the organics) loaded with crap.

My everyday dressing:
vinegar (balsamic or red wine)
olive oil
dijon mustard
mix the oil and mustard first, then add the vinegar and shake!

When I make a salad to go with Mexican dinner I mix salsa with sour cream. I'm still working on this one and want to add something more to it, maybe some vinegar?

I want to make a roasted red pepper dressing next, but haven't started working on that one yet.

Oh...cheese makes any salad taste better (in my opinion). Feta, goat, blue, they all kick it up a notch.

I have apple flavoured balsamic vinegar for my salads. I got it from Aldi when they had Italian week. Unfortunately the next Italian week isn't for ages.
Buut... I think Karstadt fo flavoured vinegar/dressing type things. White wine vinegar based lemon dressing was one I believe. Very nice, but possibly a little expensive.

Or try this: Olive oil, white wine vinegar, splash of lemon juice, rosemary, salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste. Simple, but I like it :-)
