Vigeland Sculpture Park

The park covers 80 acres and features 212 bronze and granite sculptures created by Gustav Vigeland. This by far was my favorite part of the trip, pictures do not do justice. It was quite a sight.

But I have to say, those babies are scary-looking. LOL

Yes...in the US people would go crazy...they would not see it as art.

These are great! I agree that angry baby is a bit scary, but your Jon Gosselin comment made me laugh. Even without knowing it, I would have been willing to bet that last one was created by a man. I'm just sayin'.

You are getting so good with your camera!
That would have been the highlight of my trip too. I love sculpture, especially outdoors. The baby was my favorite, kinda reminded me of kevin when he was young.

Pretty amazing looking...some weird, some nice...hey Frau, you need to take off your "no-reply comment" status on your comments, so that you can be emailed back. You do it in your profile edit, and select the show email box, or something like that....

Kathy the first one is scary and a hoot all bottled into one!! Oh dear I wonder who posed for this one?!! I did like the tree, and the family sculptures the best.

Back for a second look...what was that bottom one? I'm kind of afraid to ask just for the shape alone. :)
