Black and White Wednesday

Happy Wednesday!Cold day here in Germany, frost covering the trees, grey skies, snow covered garden. Grasping at the hopes of change, like everyone ready for the next season. Needing to feel the kiss of the sun, hear the chirping of the birds, smell the fresh air, see new life forming. Ah! Spring where are you? Mother Nature why are you so fickle?
This week for black and white Wednesday I picked a picture again from our summer trip to Oslo, Norway. Not really sure what this is either a church, school or possibly someones home. But needless to say it's beautiful, I really love it in B&W.

Please join Lisa for more black and white Wednesday over at The long road to china.

Fantastic photo! If walls could speak, what would this house/church/school tell us?

I lived in Germany for five years and remember vividly how much I ached for Spring. Hopefully soon, huh!

I love that picture. (I say that everytime don't I?) I can't imagine the effort it takes to get out to that building for whatever it's used for.

My dh went to Oslo last year during his trip to see the N Lights and the pictures he brought back were amazing.

Wow....such an interesting shot. Is this floating on the water or a tiny island?

I hope spring comes to Germany soon and Mr. Sun at least blows kisses your way!

What a gorgeous, interesting photograph! Yes, one really starts to wonder about the building...that's part of what makes it such an amazing picture :D

My guess...a salvaged building, moved to this unusual spot to be used as a summer cottage. Would love to learn the true story one day!

I do wonder what that is. Can you imagine living there? At first I thought it was a light house, but I guess it would need to be taller for that? Maybe?
