My Junior

Katelyn started her Junior year today! New school, new year, first time in a big school... lots of nervousness! As a Mom I feel her pain and anxiousness, I know it's hard to be the new kid, first time in a large school, all the unknowns. You try to give advice and ease their minds but lets face it teens think we know nothing and are clueless! I really hope she has a great first day and meets lots of nice kids!

I hope she has a good day! I remember going into high school when I wasn't even the new girl. It's a tough time no matter what.

I'll be praying for her today. And you. I've sent my children to a new school more times than I care to remember. It's nerve wracking. And it will all be fine.

It may take a short time before she is acclamated, but she will do fine with supportive parents such as you and your husband.
Much success to her!

It's that time of year again. Time sure does fly. My step-daughter is a junior this year too. Before you know it, we'll be attending college graduations.

I'm sure she'll do fine - she's got a great smile that will easily attract others to her :)

Looking up all my friends I have missed since the summer! Good luck with the new start, it's a new start for you all! She will be fine, I am sure!

So fun to read you reminiscing about the parking, package delivery and the yard sales...LOL!
To your fire places... Take it slow. A few things seem maybe a little lost at first, but over time you will fill your home and your mantels with all you want to see. Just do not try to force it. Be unconventionell, decorate with natures bounty, mirrors, vases, flowers, leaning photographs... you get the picture, change with the seasons!
Can't wait to see more, your house looks so very romantic!

Kathy, I hope your "junior" had a good day today at school. I would be nervous too. Before my junior year in HS I was very shy- after 9th grade I don't know what happen but all *#(@ broke loose and I was never the same. xo

What a doll! I remember starting in a new school as a junior and I was a nervous wreck......for about the 1st month...then smooth sailing from there.

What a beautiful girl she is!

Good luck, Katelyn!
