I have lots of favorite vacations taken over my life time, but one I have been thinking about is from the Summer of 2006. My parents rented a beach house at the Jersey shore- LBI Long Beach Island.
All 27 of us for one week...12 adults and 15 kids! It was a perfect location and an amazing house with a killer porch. The reason it's on my mind is because they rented the same house and we are all gathering again this summer. I can hardly wait. It's getting harder and harder to get together as the kids get older and busier. So this may be the last time we are together in one spot for awhile.

It's always nice when that many members of a family can together in one place at the same time. Makes for a busy house. My wife went to LBI many years as a kid. Very nice area.

Some of the best pizza I have had in my life came from the Jersey Shore in Ocean City. It was delicious! The crust was thin and crunchy. Yummy! I hope you have a fantastic time!

oh, i love the Jersey shore...(not the show) we used to go there on family vacations..back in the 70's...Island Beach State Park...where i fell in love with a lifeguard....ahhh
and learned to surf...

Sounds (and looks) like a perfect vacation! My fave was renting a house on the beach in PEI in 2006. Who doesn't love a beach and sunsets? :)
