Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. July is National Ice Cream month...your favorite flavor? Soft served, hand dipped, or frozen yogurt...which do you prefer? And technically yogurt is not ice cream but its hot outside so I'll let that slide for today.

I have fallen in love with a flavor this summer.....I tried not to but it happened almost at first sight or taste. Perry's Birthday Bash...it's a little bit of birthday in every bite. Taste like frosting with sprinkles.

2. When you travel do you tend to pack too much or too little?

After living in Europe and traveling mostly by trains you learn to pack very light and conservatively. But if we are driving somewhere I tend to over pack...I figure why not I have the room. This last trip I wore almost everything I packed and was glad to have some extras as it was so hot and humid, we changed several times a day.

3. What's your favorite cleaning product?

My most used is Lysol products.

4. Which is the greater tragedy-an innocent person imprisoned or a guilty person set free? Explain.

This is a hard one....really want to pass! I want to believe with todays technology an innocent person rarely gets imprisoned, but I know I'm wrong. I think this is a great tragedy because after all this time there are still flaws and kinks in the system and this happens. Those same flaws cause the guilty people to be set free as well. I hate hearing someone was let free early due to over crowding in system....and then repeat their crime.

5. What's the longest trip you've taken by car?

As a child probably from New Jersey to Florida....I remember it was long sitting backwards in the station wagon waving  to people and asking my parents are we there yet! As an adult Utah to California stopping over night half way in Vegas. I'm not the best co pilot I usually dose off about a mile into a trip!

6. tennis-golf-canoeing-biking...pick one.

Tennis though I haven't played in years.....I loved playing it though. Biking if I could pick two....and if the temperature is perfect and the road flat!!

7. What sound drives you crazy?

Cracking of toes, fingers basic body noise like that...it's my nails on the chalkboard sound...yikes!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

I can't believe we are to the end of July already...the school supplies are out in the stores...we don't start until September 7th. I feel like as a child summer lasted forever now it's a blink of the eye.  Have lots to do on my list I mean my honey do list....he better get busy!

Stop by Joyce's at From This Side of The Pond and join in on the Hodgepodge today!

I am a big ice cream fan! This week at the French Pastry school is ice cream! I am going to miss the best one on Thursday, because I will be on my way to Door County, before my nephew comes home. xo

It does seem like summers are shorter than when we were kids? Are they? I'm with you on the biking-our neighborhood is mountainous so no biking here. I don't mind a litle incline or two but this would be ridiculous.

I always find these memes so interesting. Thankfully that ice cream isn't available here. I'd be tempted! :) July is speeding by, so is this year.

I use Lysol a lot too! I'm all about killing germs.
I've tried a store brand ice cream called birthday cake which probably tastes very much like that. So good!

It's only 10am but now I want ice cream. I've seen birthday bash ice cream but never tried so I'm going to have to now.

I always love your answers to these questions!

Longest car trip would be from Georgia to Mesa, Arizona to Salt Lake City Utah, Colorado Springs, Co and back to Atlanta.

I tend to pack to much. I can't help it because I always want to look fantastic.

I tend to use Windex on everything and love birthday cake ice cream though my favorite is Rocky Road.

Birthday Bash ice cream is a new one to me. I love birthday cake, so I will have to try it. I tried Red Velvet Cake ice cream and thought it was delicious!

I think every month should be ice cream month! Pralines and cream or something with brownie in it! :)

haha. I miss riding backwards in my parents station wagon and staring at people behind me.

Quite a hodge podge here! I remember long trips in the car, how did my parents do it with seven?
Sorry, I have been dealing with a hodge podge of deliveries and such....not too much time for blogging lately!

I enjoyed learning a bit more about you. :)

The longest drive we've taken was this summer when we drove from Vancouver down to the Oregon coast... and that's only 6 hours. NJ to FL --ugh, --way too long for me.

National Ice Cream month? Now we can eat ice cream guilt-free! =)

That Birthday Bash looks AWESOME!! We don't have that brand here but if we did I would try it.

You should get back into tennis for sure. You probably have some muscle memory and should do just fine. Start slow and build from there.

I pack lightly BUT to be fair I FED EX my clothes to my destinations...

Great and interesting post! xo

I would drive you crazy. Something is always cracking on my body now. Ugh.

Of course I'd line a bowl of coffee chip ice cream after reading this post! LOL.
