Friday Fragments...

Happy Friday!!
**I really want to go for a drive and take pictures of the fall colors.....if it would only stop raining long enough to do this....please Mother Nature gives us a break!!

**This weekend is Homecoming weekend here....Katelyn is on yearbook staff and has been taking pictures...first Powder Puff football game in the rain. Tonight is the Homecoming football game  probably in the rain....and Homecoming on Saturday night thank goodness that's indoors! She is going with friends and than afterwards to an "after party" !! Hope she has a good time and makes good choices!!

** In between the rain storms this week we are having our driveway extended. It's a long narrow drive and now with a third driver and car we are having to park on grass like other WNYers. Plus my hubby has ran into my daughter car twice now! Always better when it's him and not me! It's prepped and ready for the rain to stop so they can pour concrete....please Mother Nature stop the rain!!

**Katelyn's first of seven college applications went out this week....good thing is her essay is done, letter's of recommendations done, now she just needs to finish the other six applications. I think it's a huge relief to have this behind her....now she can enjoy her senior year.

** Have a wonderful weekend!!

**Stop by Mrs. 4444's at Half past kissin time for more Friday Frags.

Hope the rain lets up. We have not had too much rain but I can just feel that snow is around the corner so I am heading over to the tire shop this morning to get the studded tires put on the car. There is usually a crowd there so I always bring stuff to read while I wait.

I need to get all the stray leaves picked up & the white light guy is coming over later so we can decide where to put the lights on the house - probably same as last year- I don't want them messing with the new deck.

Have fun w/Homecoming activities & hope your concrete gets poured!! xo

We are the same with the crazy non stop rain here-ugh! It is always better when the hubs has the silly car mishap than when we do : )

Congrats to your daughter! I know it feels good to have some of the big things behind her.

Wishing Katelyn good luck with the applications and pray she makes good choices. Hope it stops raining. Keep telling you that you need to move south. :)

Hope ya'll get a chance to go out and view the colors this weekend. Ya could send the rain down our way...we could sure use it!

We have a huge driveway...gotta have room for the semi's and huge farm equipment to turn into. I'd love to get it surfaced but it takes a mint to gravel.

Loved your fragments!!!

God bless and have yourself a fantastic weekend sweetie!!!

WOW, this is great news about the college stuff. Some of the kids wait to the very end and are running with their heads cut off.
I too want to go for a ride, but it has been raining all week. Have a golden weekend with the family. BIG hugs... xo

Hope Katelyn gets to go where she wishes. It is rain, rain here too but mostly in the evening. Happy Friday, it is already Friday! Time flies.

Praying that Katelin is completely safe and has a ball this weekend. Sigh...oh to be a teen...NOT!!!

The rain is on its way here too. I just need to realize that there's no stopping it and embrace it.

You may think its over with college applications with the essay written but just wait for all the scholarship applications and they each want a different essay. I'm just grateful last year is over and my daughter is in college.

All the hard work DOES pay off though.

That's the one thing I always hated about Ireland - it rained so much I couldn't appreciat the fall. I'll try to send some sunshine you way! Have a great (hopefully dry) weekend!

Just the thought of college applications gives me nightmares. Good luck!

Hope the rain plays nice.

Not much rain now in South Louisiana. Blue skies and cooler temps are in the forecast. Honduras is in the midst of the worst of the rainy season. I understand how hard it is to get things done, including good pics, when it is raining. Just wait a bit. Then you will have snow!

Send your rain here! I'm sick of the 86 degree days! I hope the rain lets up for all of the Homecoming festivities. Congrats to your daughter on getting that first application done!

I go home to Michigan during October and I'm hoping for gorgeous color and rain free days. Although, one year it rained nearly every day and I got a lot of good shots of leaves floating in water.
