I can feel the excitment. Santa was good to you this year my friend. I'm sure you are going to have a blast. Will Sophie be going home with you or to the doggy spa? If she is not going, she asked that I remind you lots and lots of her favorite treats.
Many hugs.... xo
PS Hey Kathy, are you still having problems getting on my blog?

i love it! your post was just like mine last june before our trip back. do you know we ate mexican food like 12 times in the month we were there? i couldn't get enough of it. i would have been happy eating mexican every day.

here is my blog post about our happy return to seattle, including a photo of me in a grocery store (safeway) going crazy looking at all the food i missed:

http://horsecrazyamerican.blogspot.com/2009/07/god-bless-america.html

ya they have mexican food in germany, but it just doesn't taste the same, and they don't give you unlimited chips and salsa while you wait, and they don't give you enough food for two meals. (my azteca doggie bag is always eaten immediately the next morning!) (oh, and i'm so picky about my salsa, i'm always disappointed here.)

drink some root beer for me. how i miss root beer!

p.s SLC is PRETTY! never been there. must go!

Be prepared to be freezing!! It is so freaking cold her. We got a major snow storm yesterday. OH, and we have In N Out here now. In case you're into that kind of thing. I am not.

That does sound exciting, especially the shopping! However, if you haven't had flavored coffeemate in a long while, it's going to taste like shit after having the real stuff.

Read the label, that stuff is toxic for your weight and heart and tastebuds!

How funny! I was stopping by to thank you for visiting my blog yesterday. I was all excited to get a visitor from Germany, but instead you turn out to be right from my own backyard. I'm here in Sandy. Welcome home!

Wear your woolies - we're having a heck of a cold snap. A high of 14 chilly degrees today.

Just got back to Munich from the U.S. today, but we leave Sat. for Australia for the holidays.
Loved your excitement. Add seeing the moving "Blind Side" to your "Have to Do List." I promise you won't regret it. Sandra Bullock is awesome in this movie based on a true story about the life of Michael Orr, 2009 rookie for the NFL. It is getting amazing reviews!

I know you must be counting-not only days but hours. How wonderful for you to be home with family and friends for this special time of year. I bet you'll be able to pull off bringing back your treats...let us know how the creamer does.
