39 more days...

39 more days until we board the plane and return to the USA. I'm excited but starting to feel nervous. There is a lot to do...between filtering through our stuff here, getting rid of crap, deciding air shipment and sea shipment. We are in the process of buying a house in NY, a hard process with the time change and distance. It's a different process in the East coast compare to West coast with real estate lawyer etc.. I feel like their are a lot of cooks in the kitchen. Need to head to Utah and pack up our storage unit, ship our cars...yada, yada, yada
I know I should be making lots of lists....

I'm feeling a bit over whelmed....39 days is a while but yet May is almost over, where did it go? Remember when we were all looking for signs of Spring...Summer is knocking at the door. Off to make a list or two!

Happy Thursday

Overwhelmed but in a good way though I bet. Think of spending the 4th of July on home turf again with family. Won't that be great? :) xoxo

Oh I hear ya on the lawyer bit...definitely lots of cooks in the kitchen in NJ real estate!

Good luck with everything...my hubs always likes to say, 'Don't worry, it will all get done." Yeah. 'Cuz someone does it : )

I would be overwhelmed, too. 39 days doesn't seem like very long to make all those things happen. Hope it all goes well and smoothly for you.
Hugs and blessings,

Oy! Lists are a good thing. I live and die by my lists-- or at least they keep me pointed in the right direction.

So much going on all all so exciting. I'm cheering you on!

I would be running in circles. Definately a list. You're headed back to the states, WHOOPIE!

A list is a fine thing, assuming that you actually look at it. I have five right now (counted them last night) and don't look at them at all, haha.

Hey, I LOVE your new header--it's my favorite. Your profile pic, too--love it :)

So exciting!! Hope you won't be too busy to take a break to keep us updated and to sip some cold beer on your breaks. So you have stuff still in Utah? Wow. Getting the cars from Utah to NY would be a fun road trip. xoxoxo

It's a lot to do, for sure. But before you know it, you'll be all settled in to your new house, and this will all be behind you.

Good luck with everything you have to do! And no matter what, you will be ready when its time to go - you won't have a choice!! Hope you are more organized than me and don't end up with 17 bags to take on the plane!

Honestly, I would be completely overwhelmed. Hell, I'm overwhelmed just thinking about it!

It creeps up on you, Frau...so watch that calendar. I love what Joyce wrote...my hubby says the same and I have the gray hair to prove it!

I didn't realize you were coming back and coming to NY!

Please email me and let me know where you'll be landing...I'd love to meet you one of these days after you get settled!

Good luck and enjoy these last days in that beautiful country!

It's smart to make a list. Just breathe and take as much time as possible. Enjoy the moment in the midst of the busyness.

You'll get through it. You don't have to do it all at once, just one step at a time.

I feel exhausted just thinking about all you have to do - good luck!!

We are doing the exact same things! I'm anxious just to get there. We leave in 36 days and you wrote this post 3 days ago. Are we leaving the same day?? (28th?) I told ya you were my new best friend!

Oh, my. It's scary to be counting down in days, isn't it? We're in the same exact boat--roughly 32 more days until the movers haul our stuff out of here.
