My favorite European city is Florence, Italy
I love the history, art, churches, shopping, food and wine!
My favorite US city is NYC
I love the excitement, architecture, parks, foods and the shopping!

I think my favorite US city is Washington DC and my favorite European city is Paris (with London a close second).
Florence sounds lovely. sigh. I've never been to Italy :( I LOVE NYC too. It has an energy I don't think any other US city has. Love these photos!!!

I think I would love any city in Europe. As for the US I would say SFO, NYC, Chicago and I'm sure there are more, but I haven't finished my first cup of coffee. smile... xo

my honeymoon was spent in nyc and my memory of it was tainted by the extreme heat and humidity.
i didn't like the garbage piled up on the sidewalks (don't the businesses have dumpsters out back?) but i was so pleasantly surprised when the people themselves were super friendly.
we had a wonderful time geocaching there and i will never forget the majesty of that library. murals on the ceilings!
my favorite city is seattle but you knew that!
Vienna is my favorite European city. My favorite American city would be NYC.
This is almost impossible to answer. I think it might make a good question for a future hodgepodge post!

I live near DC and I have to admit I love it. There is so much history here and so many free things to do.
I haven't been to many European cities - I hope to get there some day.

I agree with you on both cities! I LOVED Florence. It was our first stop in Italy when my mom and I visited there many years ago. It was the place where I had my very first memorable cappuccino too!
And without question, NYC is the BEST!!! Pizza, ice cream, Yankees, theatre, love it all!! xoxoxo

I do love NYC. And San Diego. And Chicago. And Denver. But my favorite city - hands down - is Detroit. Just can't help lovin' the Motor City.
