Friday Fragments...

Happy Friday!!

❀ I don't know about you but I was so happy to turn my calendar to June...love the month of June!

❀Hate to always talk about the weather but we had a frost warning last night...what a pain moving all my planters to shelter...hope that is the last time I have to do that. Hello Mother Nature it's June now get on board!

❀My daughter has three weeks of school left...but really only one more of actual school and last two are finals..she is so ready for it to be done. I'm freaking out though I will have a SENIOR on my hands! It happen so fast seems like yesterday she was in Kindergarten!

❀Had a job interview this week...not sure I made it to round two...she said I'd hear by Friday. It's so hard interviewing with a 20 something year old, especially since my work experience out weighs the number of years she's been alive.

❀My sister Preppy Player is coming to visit on Sunday. I'm excited for her to come to my little village in rural NY.

❀Today is Junior Award ceremony at my daughter's school. Her counselor called to make sure we were coming, because Katelyn has been nominated for an award. What the heck does nominated mean....when it comes to HS awards. We had to keep quiet from Katelyn she doesn't know she is nominated.
So excited for her, she has worked her butt off this year and is really focused on what's ahead.
I'll keep you posted.

❀On Monday we did a thirty mile bike ride with our neighbors along the Niagara River to the falls.
It took until today before my arse stopped hurting. There is just no training for 5 hours on a bike seat!!

Stop by Mrs. 4444's @ Half past kissin time for more Friday Fragments. Have a wonderful weekend!

You don't realize how not padded a padded bike seat is until you're on there for more than a few minutes. Ouch!

Enjoy your company!

The good thing after all that working out, we can call you buns of steel. I'm waiting to click on your blog one day to see you in a thong!

Best of luck to Miss K, I hope she wins.

I hope you hear good news today on the job front. The killer would be to have a boss as young as your daughter!

Have fun with your sista this weekend. xo

I'm dittoing everything Joyce said! Good luck to you with the job hunting and to your daughter. I give you a lot of credit for that long bike ride, not so sure I would have made it. Have a great weekend and a nice visit with Patty!

I hope Katelyn wins the award! But I'm a little confused, wouldn't she know she's been nominated if she's going to an AWARD ceremony?

Frost warning last night??? Yikes, yeah it's time for that stuff to stop. Here it's Africa HOT! Balmy, sweltering and generally unpleasant.

btw, your header (as usual) is gorgeous. I FINALLY got my camera back, but it is SO icky outside today, and yesterday was super windy. Some day, I'll get to use it again...

Took my bike in this week for a major tune-up, and I CAN'T WAIT to get it back (after my trip).

Doesn't Katelyn read your blog? I was so bummed Kendall's freshman year, when we didn't go to the music awards ceremony (because Kendall insisted it would be boring and irrelevant to her) and then she won the Outstanding Freshman award! Grrr
