I love peonies. The frozen lemonade from McDonalds is pretty good. You need to make sure you stir it really well, or you will get a sip of totally sweet strawberry syrup. It does the job when it is pretty hot outside and you want something super cold to drink.

Ours are starting to pop open this week. Same color and size as yours - we have to pick them up off the ground and surround them with stakes though - any tips for keeping them strong?

Yay! Beautiful! Love the color.

My lilacs just started to bloom today. I can't wait to get a good pic of them in the next day or two.

They are beautiful! We had a thunderstorm that beat my peonies down to the ground and knocked off most of the blooms, so H made a bouquet and brought them inside. Too bad they didn't last longer outside.

How pretty. I wish they grew around here. I guess they need the frost. Are they good cut flowers?
