Wednesday Hodgepodge-Spring!

1. The first day of spring is here...do you enjoy working in the yard? Weeding, raking, mowing, planting-your favorite springtime garden chore? How about your least favorite?

I do sometimes...I like the planting part...it's the weeding and prep part I hate! I'm allergic to grass so I rarely cut the grass anymore, plus we have a riding lawn mower and I need to be trained on it!

2. What puts a spring in your step?

Having a productive day and getting my list done and still having time to relax!

3. Describe a time when you had to spring into action?

Once while driving my daughter to school I witnessed a single car accident and usually I keep driving because other's usually pull over and not having any medical training I deem myself useless. For some reason this time I pulled over and helped, it was so surreal and glad I did.

4. We're having carrots for dinner...would you prefer yours raw or cooked?

As a side dish raw for sure!

5. Do you take the shampoos and other sundries from your hotel room when its time to check out?

Depends if I like the brand or if I've already opened it.

6. What's the most enjoyable team or club you've belonged to and what was it that made it so?

I've been a part  two different Bunco groups does that count as a club....loved getting together once a month and chatting. Loved being apart of a book club as well....and a brief time a part of a tennis team....I think just being with a group of women with common interest is what it's all about.

7. Is cloning a sign of progress?

Yes of coarse!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

Yesterday was the first day of Spring...I was out and about all day...So Happy Spring!
My sister told me about these babies and I found some while shopping yesterday! They are too cute for Easter and yummy! I'm of coarse going to make them myself at a $1 a pop I can make them for less to enjoy and share!

Aren't they the cutest!

Stop by Joyce's at From this side of the Pond for more Hodgepodge's

I can't do much in the yard myself cause of my knees. But when I read you were allergic I could relate. My hands break out with hives if I don't wear gloves when planting. YOU should definitely learn how to use the riding mower. It can be alot of fun. Take care.

I have been seeing these little bunnies all over the net. Yes, it would be less costly to do them yourself. The chicks were my dad's favorite candy ( brings a smile to my face). xo

Well you know I have little choice but to get out in the yard and shovel. And shovel. And more shoveling....

I do enjoy it. I put my iPod on and disco thru the snow!!

Probably enjoyable for the neighbors and any random moose !

I love carrots in any form, cooked or raw. If raw, dipped in Dijon mustard.

Tennis here is very fun but the people are super picky about who they will play with. I play with anyone who wants to hit. When I am in NJ I enjoy showing up at the park and everyone there is ok. Just show up. I cannot WAIT for the snow to melt so we can play outside. Many of the local high schools have outdoor courts (4 to 6 outdoor courts per school!)

Those bunnies look SO CUTE!! and tasty!!! xoxoxo

Bunco is something I've never tried, but it sounds like such FUN!

I like the idea of dipping the bunnies in chocolate. It is funny to think that spring is officially here when we have had spring for weeks. Have a great week!

I forgot it was Hodgepodge Wednesday. This week has been going by fast.

I have allergies to grass, pollen, dust and who knows what else! Riding mower isn't hard to navigate. In fact it is FUN!

Have you seen the peep contests?
I cut our grass and it's not that much area but we have a hill that gets me sweating. I was struggling to thing of a gardening chore that's enjoyable - got it - watering the flowers and bushes.

They are so cute. I can't wait to plant my spring flowers. The bulbs I planted when it was cold have come up and I'm so happy.

I used to take all that stuff from bathrooms, but then I realized that I had ridiculous amounts of it in drawers. I make myself leave it now. :(

Never played Bunco but I think it would be fun! Love those little chicks - you have me craving sweets now! Love planting too, but yup, weeding definitely takes the fun out of gardening!

WE live for SPRING over here... after a long, dark, DEPRESSING Norwegian winter... we have to have something to look forward too!. I wore sandals to pick my daughter up from school today.. and a teacher commented... that she wanted so badly to wear sandals but was worried everyone would think she was crazy.. I told her I didn't care... everyone already knows I am American and that qualifies me as crazy,... let them all be envious.. LOL Happy Spring!

Weeding is the worst. So glad you helped out with the accident. We did that once and it's the right thing to do. Raw with Ranch! Gee, I didn't think about Bunco. I played with a group for 17 years.
So much fun!!! I love the chocolate peeps. Thanks for stopping over :)
