Wednesday Hodgepodge

1. Did March come in like a lion or was it something less ferocious in your neck of the woods?

It has been sunnier than usual but colder than usual also!  It's certainly not Spring yet!

2. Speaking of lions, which one's your film favorite...The Cowardly Lion(Wizard of Oz), Mufasa (The Lion King), Elsa (Born Free), or Alex(Madagascar)? You may notice I left Aslan off the list. Including him would have made this question way too easy for many of you.

Mufasa hands down....love Lion King!

3. What's your favorite spot from which to view the sunrise or sunset?

Currently on our back porch but my favorite vacation sunset is in Cabo San Lucas....
Or in the Wasatch Mountains in Utah!

4. To what extent is knowledge power and to what extent is truth power? What's the difference?

"Nourish the mind like you would your body. The mind cannot survive on junk food. Jim Rohn"

I totally agree with this quote....if you only feed your mind....People magazine and "Jersey Shore" instead of a book or quality programs and conversations....soon no one will want to talk to you or hear what you have to say!

"Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom. ~ Thomas Jefferson"

With truth you can speak freely knowing what you say and believe is honest and powerful...but to many the truth hurts...so sometimes we have to soften it.

5. What's something peculiar you've seen recently?

I wish I had a picture...but last week while at the airport I saw a female traveller wearing the highest high heels shoes know to man or women. I don't know about you but when I travel it's comfort, easy access to removing shoes, and with the potential sprint from gate to gate in mind!
Simular to these but add a few inches!
6. Bottled water...your thoughts?

I'm a bottled water user, part taste of water here, part the convenience...I just bought one of these in hope I can use less plastic.

7. What's your strongest sense?

I'll say smell maybe tie with sight!

8. Insert your own random thought here.

My baby is leaving tomorrow for her class trip to Disney World....she spent hours packing...seriously she would deny it but between homework and packing she was in her room from 3:00-9:30 stopping for a quick dinner! She said it's because it's hard to pack for another season than you are currently in.....whatever!  I'm going to miss her!

It's not quite spring here either. We always get a taste of it then temps dip. Such is March. I did buy a fun new coat though which makes it easier to bear : )

I remember my class trip to Disney. It was so much fun! I am sure Katelyn will have a good time too.

Oh yeah, those shoes are horrid! I like heels but that is just RIDICULOUS!

Godspeed to your daughter on her trip. SUNSETS in the MOUNTAINS are GORGEOUS, for sure. And I'm always saying you must soothe the soul. But nourishing the mind is equally important. LOVED your answers. Take care.

It's hard to pack for another season you are currently in - that's cute. Cabo, yes I can imagine spectacular sunset through the desert. I want that.

March doesn't know what it is doing here in my neck of the woods. One minute hot the next cold.

I've just never understood why women would travel in those ridiculous heel heights when they know they have to do all that airport walking!

Katelyn will have a blast at DW!

High heels at an airport...just crazy!

I am so tired lately & low energy. I think this snowy winter has done me in! Was able to walk 2 of my dogs today (Toby & Ginger) which was very nice. Hopefully will be able to get out more, it has been sunny & pleasant! And the days are longer too. Sun & longer days are good!

I also pick comfort when I fly. I'm basically always in tennis shoes!
