Oh and the classic of all White Christmas with Bing & Rosemary.... and there is another (old) movie with Cary Grant and David Niven where Cary Grant is an angel, I forget the name. Wonderful movie....I like your list as well! xoxo

My favorite is Muppets Christmas Carol! But they're all great - so happy my kids are big enough to start watching some of these instead of the Elmo Holiday special!

Has the new Scrooge movie been released in Germany yet? I just saw it this week......might make your list next year. :)

I've appreciated your comments on my blog so much but haven't had the proper time to browse around your blog like I'd like. So I am going to now. Don't be alarmed by the long visit.

I'm a nice stalker. :)

I have things to find out.

Like: Are you friends with Pooba in real life?

What do I need to do to get an invitation to visit you in Deutschland? Did I even spell that correctly?

And lastly, how did I miss the fact that you arrived in Germany via SLC on my last visits? I'm alarmed by that fact. :)

my man had the opportunity to see the classic, a christmas story, a couple years ago. i think he understands why it is a classic. and why i am quoting it all year long: )

but this christmas i said "you know that christmas movie we saw, they always play it on christmas day??"

and he said, "the 24 hours of burning fireplace show?"

"no!" hehehehhehe (but i love that yule log "show": ). maybe you should add that to your list, hehe)

p.s. sadly he did not like raising arizona at all, my fave comedy, cuz he didn't like how the humor often endangered a baby. hm. oh well, he liked princess bride!

I love, Love, LOVE Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street, Home Alone, Charlie Brown Christmas, It's A Wonderful Life, and Christmas Vacation.

I am aso a huge sucker for the Christmas Carol, especially the old B & W with Alistair Sim. Every year, I take the ride of Scrooge's redemption. Also, as a comedy, I adore the Ref starring Dennis Leary, Judy Davis, and Kevin Spacey!

OMG is right! I am in big, big trouble. Though I did most of my shopping during the year (I only have a few gifts to buy) so I'm done with that. Now if only my Halloween (yes; Halloween!) decorations would be put away and Santa would send his elves to clean my house and empty old files that seem to be taking me weeks to clean out...then we'd be talking. :-)

I'm a Christmas Story/Christmas Vacation kinda gal...and if I alternated between watching the two every day between now and Christmas, that would be fine by me. I may also need a little Rudolf...since I'm prone to call my co-workers The Misfit Toys (Shh! Don't tell. ;-)
