Our little village, small town USA is celebrating the 4th today on the 3rd!
Why you ask.....
It actually makes sense..
This way everyone can stay up late and enjoy the parade, BBQ's, Fireworks...etc..
Everyone is off tomorrow on the 4th....
because it's a holiday and the rest of the USA will be celebrating
THE 4TH of July!
but the difference is everyone else will show up to work on Thursday...
really tired....not people in my tiny town....
they will be well rested and recovered
because we moved the holiday up!

We celebrate the 3rd too. Unfortunately we will celebrate without fireworks. It has been so hot and the grass is very try. Better safe than sorry. Where the fireworks would go off is across the lake from us and the wetlands connect from there to across the street from me. Have a nice time. xo

A few of the places around here are moving celebrations to the weekend. But I think your town's idea makes more sense. HAPPY 3rd and 4th. ENJOY.

We are just going to relax on the 4th, actually Ron is going to play golf and I will play with the doggies and probably catch up on blogs and read. I wish we had an entire weekend....
