Seasons changing

I took this picture at the end of my driveway a week ago ....those trees are bare now!

and so are most of these......

and these.......

I love this Holly Tree in my neighbors yard garden, makes me think of Christmas!

Saw this Evergreen with red berries at park also made me think of Christmas!

We have been having rain everyday this month so far and it's continuing until the 15th....
The temperature is in the 40's during the day and it's been dark and gray, down right dreary.
It's like a light switch went off once the calendar flip from October to November...winter and rain are upon us.
Time to buy a sun lamp aka mood lamp. So the darkness doesn't take over!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Your photos are wonderful. Yes it is the dark gray days that seem the longest.

What is it like to spend Christmas in Germany? I vision something out of a storybook and wonderful ornaments. While working at Crate and Barrel years ago, a gal went back to visit family and brought me the most delicate tiny wooden angel I love it!

I'm glad you and the family enjoyed the last recipe I hope you like this one too. I really liked it. I find it hard at times with recipes because everyone has different taste buds. Enjoy!

Have a golden weekend my friend! xoxo

Those pictures are amazing! Is the rain normal for Germany this time of year?

Lovely scenery I too love Holly trees, they always make me think of Christmas. Sorry about your rainy days. Here in Anchorage we still have no snow and it is downright MILD! The dogs mostly do not need their sweaters and I am only wearing a light jacket myself. Have a super fun weekend!

Speaking of Christmas which leads me to think of holiday treats... weird question, but here goes: do you like Marzipan and is there lots of it in your region of Germany? I have never developed a taste for it.

You live in a beautiful neighborhood! I hope the rain dries up soon. Gloomy can be depressing after a while.

Enjoy the weekend.

Gorgeous trees. The fall is so beautiful there. So very romantic! Of course, we will not speak of the upcoming cold.
