Christmas in July

For the next week Katelyn's work is doing Christmas in July
The place is decked out in Christmas garb
Katelyn's uniform now includes a Santa hat and striped elf socks
Pandora radio is belting out Christmas tunes
But most of all the cupcakes are yummy Christmas flavors
Like
Gingerbread Man
White Christmas
Hot Chocolate
Berry Christmas
Christmas Cookie

How about you do you start Christmas shopping in July?
I think the earliest I have ever started was October!

Happy Thursday!

Have not bought or made a thing. I never start this early but I'm hoping to begin earlier than I normally do which is December : )

The cupcakes sound yummy!

Sounds like fun. I love Christmas in July. Just recently bought my new Hallmark ornaments for this year.

Dec. 23 is about the right time but if your exchange is later the week after has some deals.

Katelyn is adorable with that hat and those socks. A couple weeks ago it was 103 in the shade here and I went into Hobby Lobby to buy some scotchtape. Christmas, Fall and Thanksgiving were everywhere. If you want to see check out my Scooter Lady Rides Again. http://scooterladyridesagain.blogspot.com/2012/07/tis-season.html

Looks very festive BUT Christmas in July? no.

I have to admit I've never understood Christmas in July... June is the half way month, so it always seemed a little late to be ironic... (That is probably just me though... It's ok... It usually is.)
The earliest I usually start is October, but I must admit that is rare. There was one year when we went on vacation and both of our girlies saw jewelry that they loved and I secretly went back and bought it for Christmas, but other then that not usually.

Very cute! I only start in July if I see something that screams somebody's name. So far, I've got nuthin'!

Oh my gosh! That's early! No, I can't say I've ever started thinking about Christmas that early, but it would make sense if creating special gifts for people is on the agenda since it gives you time to get them finished :)
