Are you having a "really" great day?

Over the holiday we were with friends when the topic came up "how many great days a year do you have?". It was a question from a game they had played, I have CRS (can't remember s#@t) so I can't remember the game but play along. There was six of us having this discussion and we all had different answers and ideas of what in our minds meant a really great day.

To me a really great day changes with each day so I said probably 250 out 365 days in a year. Some days it is like Christmas full of gifts and happy memories, some days if it's sunny out and I finish my to do list. Or spending the day with a friend, shopping and having coffee and good conversation. Really my "really great day" is probably different than and next and per our conversation it was.

But today on a fellow blogger site she had a great post that makes me rethink my answer to 360 days and hopeful for more. Her message and favorite quote is Life is now, Live each moment! http://lovetobreathe.blogspot.com/2009/01/celebrate-every-day.html

So I'm thinking why can't each day be a "really great day". How many "really" great days a year do you have?

As Ina said every day is a great day. I embrace the good and the not so good. My surgeon said it was the my love of life that pulled me through a scary time. Enjoy your day my friend and make it a golden no matter what you do! xoxo

CRS? So is that what I have :)

I would have to say 365 days! Even when its a crappy day there is still a moment that has been good so you can't cross it off as a bad day! I am lucky that my babies put a smile on my face every day right when I wake up I roll over and look down at them on their beds. So right there are really great moments so 365 it is :)

You'll have to find out what the name of that game was...

Oh I think I asked you but I can't remember are you going to AZ in April?

Xo

I love that message too! Somer is always an inspiration ! I hope to have more great days ahead and just live now! Too much energy wasted on things you can't control! Today was great because I had coffee with a funny friend! Each day I am going to try and only surround myself with people who make me feel good! Once you do that their positive energy carries you through the mean lady at the checkout! RIght?!! Miss ya, Mary

This must be the theme of the week! - certainly helps in January to keep things in perspective. For me it's a matter of looking at the golden moments and not so much the whole day as good/bad...
