Great Read

I just finished reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen I highly recommend this book. It was an easy read and so interesting, you will never look at a circus the same.

Now I'm starting The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho it was recommend by some Joe at Barnes and Noble. Has anyone read it and was it good?

I have read Water for Elephants and liked it. I just finished Reading Lolita in Tehran which I would highly recommend. My book club is reading The Friday Night Knitting Club for February - I'll let you know how I like it.

I love Warrior of the Light by Coelho; I read it every day. I didn't love The Alchemist, but see what you think...

Thanks for following me. We like many of the same blogs. I have not read these books but I want too. Dangerous for me as they will push others back. So many good books so little time!

So glad you enjoyed WFE...the writing was so descriptive. I can still picture in my mind the shimmering pink costume of the trick horse rider! Would make a good movie.

Loved The Alchemist. Look forward to your impression of the book.

Just finished The Lace Reader. Another well written first novel. Could hardly put it down. I think you would enjoy it too.

My sister gave me "The Alchemist" when she was here last Fall and I read it in a day. Take a look at the site of the artist, James Noel Smith who happened to illustrate some amazing work for this story. I absolutely loved it.
Please let me know how you like it!
